Diablo IV System Requirements

Diablo 4 System Requirements are:

Minimum Requirements (1080p @ 30FPS)

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 280 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 90 GB free space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Depending upon the potential programming updates, these requirements are subject to change.

Although Diablo IV runs on computers and consoles with lower specifications than recommended, including older hard drives, CPUs with fewer cores, and integrated graphics, the experience might not be as good as it could be because of graphics limitations.

The device must meet the specifications for the game to run on low graphics at 1080p resolution and 30FPS. For gamers who prefer to enjoy the game with high-quality graphics, Blizzard has a solution too.

In addition to the customarily recommended settings, there are two additional settings options specifically designed for devices with high specifications. This means that players with powerful hardware can further enhance their visual experience while playing the game.

High Graphic Settings (1080p @ 60FPS)

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen™ 2700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 90 GB free space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Ultra 4K Settings (4K @ 60 FPS)

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen™ 2700X
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 90 GB free space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Diablo IV Recommended Requirements with medium graphics for 1080p resolution and 60 FPS are:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD R3-1300X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 90 GB free space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

The game running at 1080p resolution with medium graphics settings and 60 frames per second, forms the basis for these requirements.

Diablo IV requires a 64-bit version of Windows 10. If you are running an older version of Windows, you will not be able to play the game.

The recommended processor for the game to run smoothly on medium graphics is an Intel Core i5-4670K or an AMD R3-1300X. These are both quad-core processors with a clock speed of 3.4 GHz or higher.

Meanwhile, the minimum memory required to run the game smoothly is 16 GB of RAM. If you have less than 16 GB of RAM, you may experience performance issues, such as stuttering or crashes.

Similarly, the Diablo IV graphics card demands an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon RX 470. Both mid-range graphics can handle the game at 1080p resolution with medium graphics settings.

Finally, the DirectX version, storage availability, and internet connection are all the same for every requirement, from high to low. Diablo IV requires DirectX 12 with a minimum of 90 GB of storage space and a stable broadband internet connection to play online multiplayer.

Is Diablo 4 Cross Platform?

Yes, Diablo 4 will be cross platform on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and 5.

Regardless of the device you use to play games, you can still join and play with people using different devices similar to that of Madden NFL 23.

Nowadays, in the gaming world, cross-platform play is becoming rapidly common as more and more video games have switched from the traditional mode to this more engaging approach.

It allows players to connect with friends and family who may be playing on different platforms and helps in a great way to expand their social circle and find new people to play with.

Until now, the game's previous versions did not let players from different platforms play together. However, with the upcoming fourth installment of the Diablo series, gamers are incredibly thrilled to test out the new feature that allows cross-platform play.

How To Access Cross Platform in Diablo IV?

To play Diablo IV cross-platform, one must create a Battle.net account and link it to their console account.

Once you have done this, you can see your friends playing on other platforms and invite them to join your game.

Although it is exciting that Diablo IV and its beta will have crossplay and cross-progression, there's a catch. Like Diablo III and Diablo Immortal, Diablo 4 will supposedly need an always-on internet connection and rely on servers.

It implies that if you want to play with a companion, both of you will have to choose the same server and stay connected to it.

Diablo 4 Classes Explained

There are five classes available on Diablo 4:

  • Barbarian
  • Druid
  • Sorcerer
  • Necromancer
  • Rogue

Debuted in Diablo II, the Barbarian class has an Arsenal system that allows players to equip four weapons at once and assign them to specific skills for additional effects. They also have defensive skills, brawling skills, weapon mastery skills, and three ultimate skills to choose from.

The Druid class in Diablo IV is a shapeshifter because it can transform into different forms and has various attack methods. It has thirteen different skills that focus on different types of damage like physical, lightning, and poison.

The sorcerer class, first introduced in Diablo I, is a classic mage archetype that deals cold, lightning, and fire damage through its all-important resource Mana.

The Sorcerer class has six skill sets, including basic skills, core skills, defensive skills, elemental summons, mastery skills, and ultimate skills.

Then there is the Rogue class, which can use both ranged and melee attacks and has access to traps, CC abilities, and solid mobility.

When playing as a Rogue in Diablo IV, there's a unique feature called the class specialization system. It becomes available when you reach level 15 and gives you three different stances to choose from: combo points, inner sight, and preparation.

The last class Necromancer, also available in the 2nd and 3rd installments is the master of dark magic, which they use to summon and attack.
