Jim Boeheim family includes his wife Juli Boeheim and four children. Boeheim is a former coach for the Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball.

The former American college basketball coach welcomed a daughter named Elizabeth Boeheim with his first partner Elaine. After their divorce, Jim married for the second time with Juli.

He was blessed with three more children, two boys, Jimmy and Buddy, and a girl named Jamie. Fueled by their passion for sports and their father's athletics legacy, all of Boeheim's offspring strive to make a mark.

Jim briefly played collegiate basketball for the Scranton Miners in the NCAA league division before venturing into a coaching career.

Boeheim served as a head coach of Syracuse Orange for 47 years from 1976. CBS Sports reported that the 78-year-old announced he is stepping down from the position in March 2023 and will be replaced by Adrian Autry.

Jim Boeheim Wife

Jim Boeheim married his wife Juli Boeheim in 1997 in a traditional fashion. The pair celebrated their 25th silver wedding anniversary in 2022.

Going back to the genesis of their relationship, Jim and Juli first crossed paths at a convivial gathering in Lexington, Kentucky. In a Derby Day celebration, the two beautiful souls saw each other and were immediately allured to one another.

A mutual friend introduced them, and they started from there. Juli was flabbergasted by Jim, whom she described as bright, humorous, mature, and pragmatic.

Besides, Juli is a businesswoman from Miami, Florida. After completing her master's education at the University of Kentucky, she pursued a business profession and served as an executive for many companies.

Another salient facet of the couple's cherished relationship is their joint management of a charitable organization. Juli currently looks after the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, which she co-founded with her husband, Jim in 2009.

The charity organization was established in the aftermath of Jim's cancer diagnosis. In 2001, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Fortunately, Boeheim prevailed in his battle against cancer and has remained actively engaged in awareness programs and fundraising.

She went to a local high school there before enrolling at the University of Kentucky, where she graduated with a business major.

The age gap between her and Jim is substantially huge, about 22 years. Speaking to Sports Illustrated in 1996, she reflected on the beginnings of their romance and delved into the twenty-year age disparity between them.

Surprisingly enough, Juli also shares a cordial friendship with Jim's previous lady Elaine Boeheim. The two get along very well, and there has never been any sort of conflict or discord between them.

First Wife Elaine

Jim and Elaine exchanged vows in the year 1976 and had a daughter named Elizabeth in June 1985.

However, the basketball coach parted ways with her in 1993 after two-decade-long marriage. Their divorce was finalized a year later in 1994.

Elaine was born on 14 May 1951 in Lyons, New York. She is 71 years old, seven years younger than her ex-husband Jim.

Jim fostered them with an invincible spirit of hard work and an unshakeable will to win. On the other hand, his children have charted their course to emulate their father's success.

Even though Boeheim's children had the opportunity to engage in several athletic endeavors, such as baseball for the boys and swimming, softball, and lacrosse for Jamie, basketball was the one sport they were extremely passionate about.

Elizabeth Boeheim

Elizabeth is the eldest of four kids. She was born in June 1985 to Jim and Elaine.

It is reported that Elizabeth is not, in fact, a biological child of Jim and Elaine; instead, they adopted her. Several years after getting married, the pair could not have children, so the best they did was to adopt one.

Although initially, Jim was totally against the idea, Elaine convinced him. In 2003 she completed her graduation from Jamesville-DeWitt Central School in NY.
