Adrian Autry wife Andrea Autry is a program director at Elmcest Children Center. Adrian lives with her and four kids in Jamesville. 

The former American basketball player is a father to his brood of four, which encompasses two daughters, Nina and Aliyah, and two sons, Trey and Adrian Junior.

With an impressive resume as a coach and former player, each of his kids has drawn inspiration from him to pursue a career in sports. 

Autry was newly appointed as a head coach of Syracuse Orange' in March 2023, following the sudden departure of former coach Jim Boeheim

Besides, he has been serving as an assistant to Boeheim for seven years from 2016 up til now.

After his anointment to the head coaching role, Adrian's salary sees a substantial raise, more than $500 thousand.

Adrian Autry Married Life

Adrian married his wife Andrea Reid in the spring of 2003. The pair have been in a marital relationship for twenty years.

The romantic couple met for the first time in Miami, Florida.

While attending a group function in Miami, accompanied by his intimate friend and former Syracuse co-player Conrad McRae, he encountered Andrea, a Georgetown alumna who had worked with USA Today and ESPN the Magazine. 

She was quickly impressed by Adrian as they started talking, and they talked a lot. At first about their life and family, then shifted towards their interest and passion. 

Andrea said she was drawn to his humor and his audacious nature. Additionally, Adrian's openness and genuineness win her over. The two also shared a passion for travel and adventure. 

Who Is Andrea Autry?

Andrea is a program director with expertise in event planning, management, and marketing. 

After graduating with her bachelor's degree in Marketing from Georgetown University in 1995, she jumped right into her profession without giving any second thoughts.

According to her Linkedin profile, Andrea worked at Octagon as a PR Manager for two years till June 1999.  After that, she landed a job as an event planner at USA Today in Washington D.C. Metro Area.

Moreover, she also spent her time at ESPN Magazine for two years serving as Marketing Manager. Then for a year from 2008 to 2009, Andrea became Vice President of Marketing at Minnieland Private Day School.

Afterward, she became Director of Marketing Communications & Development at Elmcrest Children's Center, where she rendered her services for six years until November 2020.

Adrian has four children from his marriage with Andrea. They are named Trey, Adrian Jr, Aliyah and Nina Autry.

The pair are raising their offspring in Jamesville, New York. Tormented by his nomadic professional basketball career pressures, Adrian relocated to Northern Virginia with Andrea.

There he secured a role as a title agent in a real estate enterprise. However, basketball continued to exert a pull on him. He brought his folks to Syracuse for an alumni game and visited the offices of Boeheim and Hopkins.

Besides, all of his four kids have forged their destiny with basketball. The oldest of the quad, Aliyah played basketball for Syracuse University. She was born in the year 1995.

Three years after Aliyah was born, Adrian and Andrea welcomed their second baby Adrian Autry, Jr, in 1998. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2019.

The remaining two kids, Trey and Nina, are still in their teenage years. The second-born son Trey marked his birth in 2005 at 17 years old, whereas Nina completed the family by arriving in 2008.

Adrian Autry Family Life

Adrian came from a family in the vibrant city of Monroe in North Carolina. He was born to his parents Marvin Chambers and Angeter Redfearn.

The 51-year-old recalls his childhood growing up without his father. Following the separation of his father and mother, Adrian migrated to Harlem, New York, with his mom and sister LaDonna.

He was only five when he stepped foot in the metropolis of New York. Angeter and LaDonna help him foster to be one of the prominent basketball coaches in the country.  

Moreover, Adrian has two more siblings besides LaDonna. His unnamed brother and sister went to live with his dad.
