Nebraska Football quarterbacks by year are Chubba Purdy, Casey Thompson, Adrian Martinez, Luke McCaffrey, Andrew Bunch, and Matt Masker.

Talking about the history of Nebraska starting in 1890, they played their first-ever official match against Omaha. After two years, in 1892, they associated with the Western Intercollegiate Football Association which was their first football conference.

It took them almost a decade to get the taste of success as they finally began to be a competitive team, while they won multiple conference titles in the 1900s.

In 1902 they surprisingly went unbeaten the whole season for the first time. From then to 1916 they have gone 5 seasons unbeaten.

Under head coaches Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne, in two different eras, they went on to win National Prominence, National Championships many times, and a few other conference titles.

They play their home matches in Memorial Stadium and its amazing supporters are called the Sea of Red.

National Football League players like Ndamukong Suh, Mike Rozier, Eric Crouch, and Ahman Green are some of the players that Nebraska has produced. Tommie Frazier is unarguably the best Nebraska quarterbacks in the '90s. He won 2 National Championship with them.
