Golden State Warriors Assistant Coaches are Kenny Atkinson, Ron Adams, Bruce Fraser and Chris DeMarco. Ron is the oldest among them. 

GSW is one of the popular Western conference teams which is often seen battling with the LA Lakers in the playoffs.

Lebron and Curry are synonymous with great names in the current era of basketball and are part of the Western division.

In the eon of Steph, he has won four championships in the direction of then-highest-earning GM Bob Myers. Staff's contributions have become an instrumental part of the success of NBA clubs. 

Myers who held the position of an executive made some instrumental decisions that changed the direction of the club and helped them earn the trophy.

Steve Kerr is the Golden State Warrior's Head coach since 2014. Kerr has led the squad to five NBA championship wins. 

The former point guard of the Spurs has extraordinary achievements both as a coach and player. He is known for his flexible tactics and mild manner of behavior while interacting with his players and Golden State's press. 

Kerr's calmness and optimism always translated to his players which helped them overcome despair of loss and struggles in the game. 

Steve was earning $5 million annually in 2020 but it is likely that he has received an increment in his salary; after the account of GSW '22 win. 

Despite only coaching the Warriors for a year, he was able to take them toward their first championship in the 2010s era. The communication between Myers and Kerr made GSW's legacy possible.

Kenny Atkinson - Assistant Coach

Kenny Atkinson is the GSW assistant coach since 2021. He had served as head coach of the Nets for a four-year duration. 

Atkinson is a successful coach, who was able to grasp the victory of the championship with the Golden State, only after entering in 2021.

Before becoming a coach, Kenny became played for a plethora of teams outside the NBA. He had a collective experience of playing for over a decade. 

However, he transitioned into being an assistant coach for New York for four years and worked with multiple other teams like the Hawks, Nets, and Clippers, before coming to the Chase Center. 

He has led the team into the Summer League matches and guided them behind the scenes and during the absence of Kerr. 

Atkinson has remained loyal to the Warriors for two years now; he has stated that he was offered a job with Charlotte Hornets that he turned down in 2022. 

Ron Adams - Assistant Coach

Ron Adams is Golden State Warriors coaching staff, he performs the duties of an assistant coach. 

Adams is an honorary member of GSW, he has worked in the position of assistant mentor for over four decades. He started coaching college athletes and eventually transitioned to NBA in the late 90s. 

Ron became a member of the Dubs, just after they began their winning stint. He is a proud staff of the club who has worked in the most famous basketball teams like the Celtics and Bulls. 

He has stuck with GSW the longest. Adams is known to have a good rapport with the players and often engages with fans and audience in the game. 

In addition, he is considered one of the top defensive coaches in the league. Ron is inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. 

Bruce Fraser - Assistant Coach

Bruce Fraser is the GSW coaching staff, he is one of the oldest assistant coaches who was brought to the team by Kerr. 

Fraser is known for the development of Curry. Steph's discipline and shooting proficiency as we know was developed with the help of Kerr and Fraser's guidance in regards to the shooting mechanics. 

He was responsible for instructing and observing the NBA MVP's drill of a 3-point shoot of taking 500 shots. He was an essential component of the player's development and establishing good communication within the crew in the absence of Steve. 

San Diego's residing coach was an instrumental element in GSW's success. He was able to resonate with the team's emotions and understand the sentiment of the players. 

Despite not playing basketball professionally, he was able to taste the success of the NBA on four occasions alongside their head coach. 

Chris DeMarco - Assistant Coach

Chris DeMarco was hired by Kerr to join Golden State's coaching staff. DeMarco is an MBA graduate and college player. 

Wisconsin-origin player played and graduated from Dominican University located in California. Marco's job was to scout teams and asses their game videos to create a strategy

Firstly, Chris started as a video coordinator. His insights and work were instrumental for the Warriors to take advantage of their opponent's defense to secure the most points in the playoff.

Marco joined GSW in '12 and was promoted to his current position in '15. He was also a second-division college athlete who led his team to victory multiple times. 

Despite his athletic prowess, Chris also valued education and attained an MBA degree from his uni. His basketball knowledge and business tactics have proven an asset to the management of the Warriors. 

Dejan Milojevic - Assistant Coach

Dejan Milojevic is the Golden State Warriors coaching staff for 2023, also he joined the Warriors two years prior. 

Milojevic previously worked in foreign leagues as a coach. Despite being 6ft and 7 inches he went undrafted in NBA. Serbian athletes spent nearly fifteen years as players and coached international teams. 

Dejan is part of the player's development, in the start of his stint, he was responsible for teaching squad members to play closer to the basket and defend against the power forward and center positions. 

Kerr's strategy of adding Milojevic and two other assistant coaches Mahlalela and Atkinson helped them in defense and win against Celtics in the '22 finals. 

Serbian coach was a veteran in both playing and coaching he also served as a national team mentor for his nation in 2019. 

Kris Weems - Assistant Coach For Player Development

Kris Weems GSW's assistant player development coach from California. Weems is an alumnus of Stanford University. 

Weems started learning the ropes of player development during his college years. After joining the Warriors in the role of player development in 2011. 

Later, he became a scout for GSW and quit the job altogether in 2014. After playing the role of assistant coach and head coach of Santa Cruz Warriors. 

Weems joined the big leagues as a player development coach in 2021. He served six years in the minor league of GSW before achieving an NBA championship win with the team in 2022. 

California residing coach did not have an illustrative career as a player but he grew his basketball knowledge from training and mentoring school, college, to pro athletes. 

Hilton Armstrong - Assistant Coach For Player Development

Hilton Armstrong is a former basketball player and part of the coaching crew and player development since 2023. 

Armstrong is the former player of the club as well. He joined the Warriors in the D-league and also played for the team in '13-14 season. 

Hilton's first rodeo as a player development coach is with GSW. He has a fair amount of basketball knowledge and experience from the NBA to international leagues. 

He is a 6ft 11 inches tall athlete who is likely to work on the defensive skills of the Warriors. The 38-year-old athlete was a first-round pick in the 2006 draft.

Likewise, Lakers player Lebron James was drafted three years earlier than him. He has played with the likes of Kobe, Lebron, and Drik. 

New York's star became the Greek Cup Champion while playing in Europe. He was also an NCAA champion in his college years. 

Anthony Vereen - Assistant Coach For Player Development

Anthony Vereen is a top coach and player, who was a full-time coach for the D-League team Santa Cruz Warriors. 

Vereen spent four years with the team. Before joining Dubs, he was part of Pearland ISD, where he performed the duties of teacher and player development director. 

Before his job as a coach, he worked full-time as a player for teams in Spain, Finland, and even China. His last game was with Santa Cruz Warriors in 2016. 

After adding multiple experiences to his resume. Vereen returned to Golden State and became part of their coaching staff. 

Anthony was recently promoted in 2022 and joined the team of Player Development Coach. He seems to be a capable mentor who has led his team toward growth and achievement in his tenure. 

Drew Yoder - Trainer

Drew Yonder might have been assigned the title of trainer by NBA but he is much more than that. 

Yonder is part of the medical staff and oversees players' injuries, performance, and athletic training.  He graduated from Southern Methodist University and worked as an athletic trainer with GSW. 

He was promoted the to Director of Medical Services by the Dubs after his ten years of service to the team. He has been there for Curry's ankle rolls, Thompson's, and Draymond's injuries as well.
