Devin has two half-siblings Davon and Mya. Davon is the oldest of the trio while the NBA star is the middle child.

Even though all three of them are children of different parents, they get along pretty well with one another. The Phoenix Suns player has uploaded several pictures with his two halve-bloods. 

Veronica was first married to Davon's dad. She then had a courtship with Devin's father Melvin and eventually settled down with Mya's family.

In July 2022, Devin signed a contract extension with the Suns worth a $224 Million four-year deal. Davon went on to his socials to congratulate his brother.

He posted a picture of the two with the caption that says Devin deserves those undeniable numbers.

The 6 feet 5 inches tall athlete commented on the post, "We both signed that brotha," with love and a hang loose emoji.

Davon Is A Real Estate Agent

Devin Booker brother Davon Booker is from Grand Rapids and works as a real estate professional at LinehanWADE Group. 

His tasks involve helping clients buy, sell, and manage properties and real estate investments in the core Phoenix region. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.

Davon moved to Phoenix, Arizona, with Devin, where he fell in love with the artistic and architectural aesthetics of the area. He then decided to seek a career in real estate to put his abilities and deep love for assisting others to use. 

Born in February 1993, the 29-year-old embraced the property business and began practicing as a realtor working in several companies such as DB Management and AZ Real Estate.

Devin Booker is very close to half-sister Mya Powell. The two siblings share a special relationship. 

Mya is the youngest of the three kinds. She was born in 2000 to Veronica and her third partner.

She is 22 years old, four years younger than him. Besides, Mya has a special medical condition, Microdeletion syndrome.

It is a type of health problem resulting from a genetic disorder that leads to severe neurodevelopmental disabilities.

The unconditional love, care, and attention Devin shows her are undeniable.

Booker draws inspiration from Mya, which can be seen in the game. His ferocious and offensive gaming is directly related to the support and affection she receives from her.

Moreover, Mya developed a strong interest in basketball and has become a fan due to his brother's professional success. Devin often takes her to his game, and she watches him play for the stand.

She has become a basketball enthusiast. Devin occasionally introduced her to his teammates and coach as well.

While conversing with the Suns' manager Monty Williams, Mya discovered her desire to be a basketball coach one day.

She said, "I think I'll make a great coach," Devin nodded, "Yes, you will."

Booker serves as an epitome of how to treat those with special needs. He was chosen as the world ambassador for the 2020 Special Olympics due to his contribution to Mya.

Devin Booker was born to his parents Melvin Booker and Veronica Gutierrez. 

He grew up living with Veronica in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan. She works in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist. 

On the other hand, Melvin is a former basketball player who played in the NBA (National Basketball Association) during the 1990s. He failed to get drafted in the 1994 NBA Draft.

However, Levin managed to donn the kits of several teams, including the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, and Houston Rockets.

Melvin met Veronica while playing for Grand Rapids Mackers during the 1995-96 Continental Basketball Association (CBA) season. They began dating, and soon he got her pregnant. 

Though she never tied the knot with Melvin, their relationship blessed her with Devin. Booker spent his early days with Davon in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Veronica took custody of her firstborn following the divorce from her first marriage. She then moved in with Melvin in the Rapids.

The NBA guard shared a childhood picture of him and Davin with mama Veronica on his Instagram in May 2016. Because of Mr. Booker's busy professional life, he rarely had time to spend with Veronica and Devin. 

Melvin returned to his hometown of Mississippi after retiring from playing. He urged Veronica, who had been rearing Devin in Grandville, to move their son to live with him to aid their boy's development as a basketball player.

However, things were not as easy as he thought, and Veronica refused to relocate to Mississippi. They eventually broke up but let Devin move in with his father.

Melvin taught him about the sport from the basics, and trained and coached him to hone his skills. As a result, Devin grew to be one of the generational talents in NBA history.

Devin Booker came from a mixed ethnic background. His family from his mum's side represents Mexican and Puerto Rican ancestry.

His maternal guardian were natives of Mexico, whereas Devin also has an African root from his old man Kelvin. After his parents parted ways, Devin lived with Kelvin in Mississippi, where he enrolled at Moss Point High School.

His progenitors have a history with the school. It holds special meaning for Devin's family because his grandpa and pop, Kevin, studied there.

Both Veronica and Kelvin nurtured him in their unique ways, significantly impacting his life. With the combined wisdom they imparted to him, Devin grew up to be a complete person.
