In addition to the announcers, the broadcast team also includes sideline reporters and a studio host who complete the team.
The Timberwolves broadcast team includes Katie Storm as the television sideline reporter for all the coverage of the team's games.
Storm has been a sports enthusiast and started her career with FOX Sports North as a reporter. She covered Gopher Hockey, the Timberwolves, the Lynx, the Twins, and the Wild.
The team of broadcasters may not be as huge as some would have thought but has a very talented and excellent team. All members complement each other and viewers have loved them.
Timberwolves Play By Play Announcer
Timberwolves play by play announcer is Michael Grady who took on the role in August 2022. Grady will team up with analyst Jim Peterson for Bally Sports North.
Grady has replaced long-time announcer Dave Benz who served as the Minnesota Timberwolves' lead voice for a decade. He was not retained as the announcer and was let go in May 2022.
No one expected the departure of Benz who had formed a commendable partnership with Peterson. Benz felt heartbroken and sad when he was informed about the decision.
Michael Grady took charge as the play-by-play announcer for the NBA side and completed his first full season in the 2022-2023 season.
The Timberwolves announcers team is led by Grady who previously spent five years on YES Network with the Brooklyn Nets and the Yankees.
In his five years with the network, he has gained quite an experience. He served as a sideline reporter, hosted pregame and postgame shows, and also was a part-time play-by-play announcer.
