How High Is The Red Bull Cliff Diving Platform

Red Bull Cliff diving height ranges from 85-92 ft. A diver plunges from a staggering 88ft-high platform with a high speed of 52mph.

Cliff diving isn't as simple as the name suggests but is a professional sport with a lot of maths, body control, and a strong mental mindset.

Starting from the platform to the contact on the water's surface takes merely three seconds, and doing so with such force is not a joke.

The dive is not just a simple plunge but involves lots of acrobatic maneuvers and coordination all to be managed in those three seconds.

In addition to speed and height, the impact is another aspect of the sport as they make contact with the water with almost three times the force of gravity.

On impact, the divers who travel over 50mph tend to go from that to literally zero in less than a second. If the dive is not straight similar to that of a darting arrow, then it is really going to hurt pretty bad.

For those wondering how high is Red Bull cliff diving in comparison to Olympic diving, the platform stands at 10m in the Olympic Games.

Along with the height of the diving platform, weather is also crucial as they have to adapt to the ever-changing weather conditions accordingly.
