Most senior PGA tour wins is 12 by Bernhard Langer. Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Steve Stricker and Tom Watson also make the list.

Langer is the oldest winner in the tour. He is a 65-year-old German who boasts around 122 wins in his professional golf career.

Golfers are qualified for the senior tour if they finished top 30 in the previous year's PGA tour champions money list.

Likewise,  30 players who are in the top 70 of all time of the PGA tour and PGA tour prize money list enter the competition. 

Similar to the senior PGA tour there is also the Senior PGA championship where the invitation is given to the players who have become 50 years old. 

In addition, the current champion of the Senior PGA Championship is Steve Stricker.

Bernhard Langer has the most Champions Tour wins. He has 46 wins in European events like the British and Scottish Open and 12 titles on the Senior PGA tour. 

Langer is one of the most decorated players, known for his swift swing and maneuvering the pace of the game according to his strategy. 

He is also an exemplary figure of consistency, diligence, and discipline. At the age of 65, he has not suffered any major injuries throughout his golfing career.

The German player is inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001-02. He has received multiple accolades and has ranked #1 in the official world rankings during his prime. 

In the course of his career, he has won two masters tournaments and 10 Ryders Cups. He has amassed a total of 122 career wins.

Gary Player - 9 Wins

Gary Player is a famous player in the senior golf tournament and he received the Presidential Medal of Honor from former President Donald Trump in 2021. 

South African golfer is the only foreign athlete to accomplish a grand slam by winning all four majors in his golf career.

Besides, he has set a benchmark for South African golfers with the historical achievement of 159 wins throughout his career along with participation in events organized in all continents except Antarctica. 

Gary James is 87 years old, born and raised in Johannesburg. He has nine wins in senior majors spanning from 1985-1998.

He has participated in multiple PGA tours, US Open for seniors, and national tournaments representing South Africa. He is one of the most prestigious figures in golf's history.

Jack Nicklaus - 8 Wins

Jack Nicklaus is a PGA championship winner. Jack is a Hall of Famer, who is credited for popularizing golf throughout the country. He won eight Sr PGA majors titles from '90 to '96.

In memory of Nicklaus, a PGA event called the memorial tournament takes place in Dublin, Ohio. The latest winner of the event is Viktor Hovland from Oslo Norway. 

Nicklaus has also founded multiple golf courses such as PGA venues like Valhalla Golf Track. Nicklaus is an 83-year-old golf celebrity who turned pro in 1961 after winning US Amateur in 1959. 

Jack holds the record of 117 total career wins and 73 total PGA tour wins. Nicklaus competed against Arnold Palmer and Gary Players.

Likewise, he is a wealthy individual with notable prize money earnings. Jack's longest streak was his 10 title wins including PGA tours and career grand slams. 

Hale Irwin - 7 Wins

Hale Irwin is among the highest earners in PGA senior tour money list. Irwin's career earnings in Senior Tour is 27.158 million, he is topped by Lagner with over 33 million.

Irwin was the top-ranked golfer in the 70s. According to the Champions Tour record, he has one of the best statistics against other golfers. Irwin won seven Senior tour titles. 

Besides golfing, he also has a respectable career as a golf course architect. Irwin is a 78-year-old Missouri golfer with a record of 83 wins throughout his career. 

While playing college golf, he won the 1967 NCAA championship in golf. Irwin turned pro in 68' and his highest official ranking was seven in 1991 after winning Ryder Cup with Team USA.

Unfortunately, he was not able to win the career grand slam but he holds three wins in major championship and 17 wins over other PGA tours. 

Steve Stricker - 7 Wins

Steven Stricker is the latest winner of the Kitchenaid Senior PGA Championship. Steve's victory came in the playoffs, he won with a score of 18 over par against Irish golfer Harrington.

Likewise, the 53-year-old player has accumulated 39 total career wins thus most of them are credited to the PGA and senior championship thus he has 12 and 16 wins in each category. 

Steve is qualified for the Player's championship next year thus he shall graciously entertain his fans in the next showdown. Madison Origin Golfer also led the US to the Ryder Cup and won the event in 2021. 

Hence, his highest ranking is second place in OWGR, after winning the Bob Hope Classic in January 2009 and the Mercedes Benz Championship in the previous year helped him solidify his golf ranking. 

Stricker won seven senior career titles similar to Irwin. 

Tom Watson - 6 Wins

Tom Watson is among the top ten PGA tour champions money list. Tom has made $16.303 million in the tour, and he is one of the celebrated golfers from the 70s and 80s. 

The Missouri-born player is known for his consistency and longevity in the sport. he has participated in over 100 competitions in the course of his 26 years of career. 

He has 70 wins and more than half of them came PGA tour. He became successful in achieving a grand slam by winning all major trophies

Likewise, he is in the sixth position in the list of major championship victories behind Woods, Hogan, Player, Hagen, and Nicklaus. He won 6 Senior major career titles as well.

Tom was awarded multiple awards like PGA Player of the Year and World Golf Hall of Fame. Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame inducted him into their prestigious program.

Arnold Palmer - 5 Wins

Arnold Palmer is the most popular PGA Senior golfer from the 50s. He has one of the highest winning records on the PGA tour with 62 wins and five senior majors from 1980-88.

Palmer's first win was in Canadian Open 1955, only after a year of turning pro. At present, he has become a mogul in golf by popularizing, investing, and growing the sport both nationally and internationally.

Palmer also founded Arnold Invitational which was later changed to Bay Hill Invitational in 2007. He designed 300 golf courses throughout 37 states, 25 countries, and five continents besides Africa and Antarctica. 

As a player, he holds 95 career wins and 5th rank among the highest PGA tour winners. He has 5 wins in the Senior PGA championship. 

Arnold is also the recipient of 2004 Presidential Medal of Freedom from George W. Bush. 

Miller Barber - 5 Wins

Miller Barber is an American Golfer and Senior Champion. Miller also known as Mr. X turned pro in 1958, he holds 43 career wins in his career. 

From 1981-1989, he won five titles in Sr. PGA Tour Champions. He is among the top ten PGA player of the 80s who was unable to win a major

Barber had an unusual playing style, he used to loop his backswing and downswing. However, his unique play style helped him secure multiple birdie wins in PGA Tour.

Unfortunately, Miller passed away, he is survived by his wife, sons, and stepsons.

Lee Trevino - 4 Wins

Lee Trevino is a retired golfer who previously won a Senior Championship record four times. Trevino is an inspiring figure for Mexican American, he is one of the first golfers of the ethnicity. 

Trevino fell short of the grand slam but he achieved most of the major trophies in his career. He has some amazing achievements besides his career-winning record. 

Lee was the first player to shoot golf under par in all four rounds of the US Open. In the 1968 Open, he played 69-68-69-69. He played in the Ryder Cup on six occasions and served as captain in 1985.

The Texas-born player was the 14th greatest golfer of all time by the Golf Digest magazine in 2000.

Allen Doyle - 4 Wins

Allen Doyle is a PGA tour winner from 1999-2006, he does not have significant career wins but Doyle is among the top ten winners of senior tour. 

Doyle had multiple Amateur wins before entering the professional stage. Besides, the tour championship he has also participated in the Nike Sponsored tours.

His last win was in 2017 against Hubert Green, he won in the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf. Besides, a career in golf, he is a philanthropist who won donated $1 million to various charities during the 9/11 attacks.
