NFL teams with male cheerleaders are Donivous Odom (Titans), Quinton Peron (Rams), Driss Dallahi (Patriots), James LeGette (Eagles) and Napoleon Jinnies (Rams). 

Donivous Odom is already in his fifth year with the Titans. It might feel unnatural for the audience but Odom has become successful in establishing his presence within the team and in the mind of naysayers. 

Odom is among the many male dancers who have successfully broken the stereotype. It might not look pragmatic but it shows a unified stance of Titans about gender equality and equal opportunity. 

Among the 32 teams in the NFL, only 24 teams have cheerleading to encourage their team and attract the crowd. Thus, cheergirls have become popular in all types of sports in America. 

However, men in a female cheerleading squad are not as bad as it seems, as men are mostly responsible for helping girls perform acrobatic skills. 

Donivous Odom - Tennessee Titans

Donivous Odom is the male NFL cheerleader of the Tennessee Titans. Odom himself admitted in an interview that he does not have any professional dance training. 

Besides his career with the Titans, he was featured on TV Networks and America's Got Talent. Odom graduated from Tennessee University. 

Previously, he worked as a manager of the Inferno dance crew and was responsible for providing organizational support to the performers, designers, and technical crew. 

Odom joined as sales advocate for Urban Outfitters but eventually moved to the cheerleading team of Titan called "Titan Up Team" where the worked for a year as a part-timer. 

Donivous successfully signed his professional contract with the Titans and was a male dancer for more than 5 years. He had excellent crowd control and interaction with the fans. 

Even though Odom holds down a corporate job, he loves dancing and expresses himself through the sport. 

Quinton Peron - Los Angeles Rams

Quinton Peron is the very first cheerleader of the NFL who works at the LA Rams. He is a choreographer and owns a dance studio in L.A. 

Peron has suave and swagger while dancing. He has exceptional skills to draw the attention of the audience. Peron is a talented individual who possesses exceptional skills.

Quinton was featured in Ellen's show and CBS's reality show called The Amazing Race in 2022. He appeared in the CBS show which features multiple other artists. 

Peron stated in an interview that being a cheerleader for the Rams was life-changing for him. He was able to grow alongside the company.

There were tumulous moments in his life that he was able to get through with the Rams. 

Looking back, he started dancing when he was in high school thus he is happy that he was able to make a career out of his passion. 

Napoleon Jinnies - Los Angeles Rams

Napoleon Jinnies and Quinton Peron were the first male dancers in NFL since 2019. He was a former Disney dancer who was featured in Abercombie & Fitch. 

Jinnies is in partnership with The Trevor Project. He is also trained as a classical dancer. Napoleon was th born and raised in Santa Barbara at the state of California

He graduated from Orange Coast College and was passionate about World history during his academic pursuit. Similarly, Jinnies began dancing when he was in 7th grade. 

According to him, he had a learning experience with the Rams. They are a diverse organization that helped him settle and accept in the sports community despite representing LGBTQ+. 

Furthermore, working with a charity like Trevor Project gave him an opportunity to give back to the community and channel positive vibrations through philanthropy. 

Driss Dallahi - New England Patriots

Driss Dallahi is a male NFL cheerleader in 2023 with New England Patriots. It has nearly been four years for Dallahi with Pats.  

Londoberry origin dancer graduated from a local school and attended the University of New Hampshire where he majored in administration and kinesiology. 

Dallahi began his career in cheerleading when in New York City. He had a niche advantage as the athlete specialized in aerials. Finally, he was selected by Patriots out of 300 applicants. 

Thus, Driss was among the first two male dancers of Patriots 30 years ago. The pats' cheerleader pursued a corporate job during the off-season of the NFL. 

Dallahi is Klaviyo's senior benefits analyst in Boston, Massachusetts, and a people operation specialist for 2 years and going. 

Before his career with NFL, he had an impressive resume of corporate jobs where he was mainly responsible for HR jobs and talent acquisition. 

Steven Sonntag - New England Patriots

Steven Sonntag is a male NFL cheerleader, he is based in Boston Massachusetts, and works as an office coordinator for Forrester as well. 

Sonntag started cheerleading in his high school. He won multiple competitive cheerleading competitions. Steven joined New England in 2019 and is continuing his career. 

Moreover, the Patriots cheerleader graduated from Dean College in dance, he completed a four-year degree and joined and promptly joined the jobs despite securing a gig with the Patriots. 

Sonntag has a friendly personality and shines at the job related to human recourses. He worked as an office coordinator and school coordinator in the past. 

In 2023, Steven secured a full-time Forrester job as Office  Coordinator. He is expanding his horizons beyond his dance career and pursuing other prospects. 

Cameron Elder - Seattle Seahawks

Cameron Elder is with Seattle Seahawks, they are NFL teams with male cheerleaders. Elder is a talented cheerleader from Lakewood, Washington. 

Elder is a 4th-year veteran who has pushed the boundaries and has settled among a few male cheers in Seattle. Elder performs alongside his team to hype up the NFL crowd.

Cheerleading has become a popular attraction. it is one of the best-performing avenues for dancers to display their talent. It is mainly female dominant industry but male cheerleaders are also entering the industry.

Originally, commercial cheerleading began in the late 70s during the new ownership of the Lakers and the first year of Magic Johnson

In the past, they were treated as eye candy but lately, since the start of competitive cheerleading has defined the sport into a new dimension. 

However, it is also a dangerous sport that consists of multiple injuries and demands athleticism from the performers to transmit the energy to the crowd. 

Dylon Joel - New Orlenas Saints

Dylon Joel is a self-taught NFL cheerleader. Joel looks like Sam Smith and has the dancing skill to prove as an entertaining aficionado. 

Joel is an LSU graduate and joined the LSU cheerleading squad, where he learned to dance. He began to choreograph and teach himself the art of dancing. 

Dylon expressed that being an NFL dancer helped him connect with people rather than just become a performer. He was able to make it into the female-built industry and learned much more about showtime entertainment and dancing. 

Moreover, Joel credits Youtube as he was able to learn much more and apply it in his industry. 

James LeGette - Philadelphia Eagles

James LeGette is one NFL male cheer performer of the Philadelphia Eagles. He is from Philadelphia as well and is a fan of the Eagles. 

Before he bloomed into a cheerleader, he worked as a Gymnastic instructor for more than six years. He still actively teaches Gymnastics at Dynamix. 

Legette graduated from Bucks college with an associate's degree. He holds multiple licences and certificates including first aid and crisis prevention. 

James joined Phillies in '21, he has been with the team for more than two years now. 

Kyle Tanguay - Philadelphia Eagle

Kyle Tanguay is a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader. He graduated in Arts from the University of Philadelphia. Tanguay learned at Fusion Dance Academy. 

Tanguay has participated in National competitions and has worked alongside Jilian Meyers, Mandy Moore, and Makenzie the Dustman. 

Kyle performed on national TV in the show Americans Idols' earlier seasons. The Eagles gave him a platform to expand his opportunities. 

Currently, Kyle is a professional dancer and instructor at Wynn Academy and Dance Connection. He is a talented athlete who has been able to go beyond his career in NFL. 

Lorenzo Gilbert - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Lorenzo Gilbert is the first male cheerleader of Tampa since 2019. Gilbert is a talented artist who hopes to inspire more men in the NFL cheerleading squads. 

Besides his career with the Buccaneers, he teaches dance and models as well. Gilbert is a passionate and talented artist who is loved by the team. 

While trying out for the team, he had exemplary qualifications including his past experiences with dancing. Like other male cheerleaders, he is openly gay.
