The goal is to make sure each student understands how important it is to learn the game of basketball mentally & physically.

Big-time hoops teams must be ready to tip off at scheduled game time. Exceeding this time by 7 minutes will be considered a forfeit.
Not only that but each minute that the team exceeds the scheduled start time, that team will be assessed a 3-point penalty.
For example, the game starts time at 11 AM, and the late team arrives at 11:01 but does not jump the ball until 11:05 AM. The opponent of the late team will be awarded 15 points.
Big-time hoops basketball teams must have a minimum of 4 players to start a game.
The tournament director assigned to the tournament can allow a grace period for unexpected circumstances. Games will not start early unless both coaches agree.
Neither tournament referees nor site directors for the game have the authority to require teams to start a game prior to the scheduled starting time.

In the first match of RWE with 562 Select, The RWE defeated the 562 Select by a score of 97-56, winning the first match of the tournament with a good margin.
After winning their first match against 562 Select, Rod wave elite match with GB Elite on 29 July 2023 where RWE won their match, downing the GB Elite 78-42 at Momentous Sports Center.
In the third match of RWE against Tucson Trojans on 30 July 2023, The RWE defeated the Tucson Trojans by a score of 82-55, winning their third match with a good point difference.
The team Rod wave elite played a total of 5 matches in the momentous sports center basketball tournament. Among them, RWE won 4 games and lost the final against Drifty Elite on 30 July 2023 at Momentous Sports Center.
