Hubert Davis and Wife Leslie Davis Proud For Raising Three Athletic Children

Hubert Davis and Leslie Seigle got married in a private ceremony in Dallas.

During his interview with Chapel Hill Magazine, the Tar Heels coach revealed that he and Lesli instantly became friends when they first met when he was 16 years old.

He was one year senior to her, but they built up chemistry at Lake Braddock Secondary High school.

Leslie's father worked at Pentagon then, and she planned on going to Davidson for college. However, she ended up attending North Carolina and surprised Hubert.

They went on a first date during their time at UNC. So, the college has a special place for both of them.

The coach still calls his wife his girl. The Davis couple attends media and basketball events as a pair.

Mrs. Davis often appears on her husband's Instagram but has resorted her time to her household only.

Hubert Davis has welcomed three children from their marriage.

They have two sons Elijah and Micah and a daughter Bobbie Grace.

Elijah Davis Followed In Dad's Footsteps

Elijah is the eldest son of Hubert Davis and currently plays for the Lynchburg Hornets of the University of Lynchburg in Virginia.

He committed to the team in October 2020 and signed with them in the presence of his family.

Regarding his joining a different college team than his father and uncles, who chose the Tar Heels, coach Davis confirmed that he is happy with the decision.

He said that the only footsteps he wants his kids to follow are Jesus’ footsteps.

Elijah is a six feet four inches guard and forward for his team. Besides basketball, he studies Business as his major and Education as his minor at the uni.

Meanwhile, he aspires to be a professional basketball player after his graduation. His Instagram @_elijahdavis_ is wholly dedicated to his pictures from game days.

Bobbie Grace Davis Is The Only Daughter

Bobbie Grace, aka Gracie, is the middle child and the only daughter of Hubert and Leslie. She attends Jordan High School just like her elder brother.

Unlike her dad and elder bro, Gracie plays lacrosse instead of basketball.

Coach Davis is happy that each of his little ones has harbored interests in other sports besides basketball. Gracie is a Team 91 Lacrosse Girls star player.

Micah Davis Is the Youngest

Micah goes to the same high school as his elder sister and is a soccer player.

His Instagram @micahndavis showcases his adventures as an athlete and travel lover. In June 2022, he had been to Norfolk, Virginia, with his teammates.

They had played at Kings Island for a tournament in May of that year. For most of the year, the teenager practices around his Durham school area and studies.

He and Gracie are close and often go out for fun since Elijah is busy at his practices.

Hubert Davis parents are Bobbie Webb Davis and Davis Sr. His dad played college basketball at Johnson C Smith college in Charlotte.

Hubert lost his mother when he was 16 years old. Meanwhile, his uncle Walter Davis played for the Tar Heels and later in NBA.

The Davis family are devout Christians.

He is also related to the Seigle family from his marriage to Leslie. His father-in-law Bob is a former U.S. Army turned businessman. 

The Seigle family ran Continental Consulting Group Corporation (CCGC). The company provides personalized business consulting to reach the United States Government.

His son Elijah is a little over two hours away from his house. Hence, coach Davis often travels to meet his son in Lynchburg.

In a 2019 interview with North Carolina Study Center, the Tar Heels head coach expressed his wish for his children to inherit generosity from Leslie.
