Female caddies on PGA Tour are Fanny Sunesson, Justine Reed, Nicki Tiziani and Amber Watney. Justine caddies for LIV golfer Patrick Reed.

The history of golf has witnessed that the role of a caddy is mostly associated with men over the years. Very few females have performed the role.

Whenever a caddy who is tasked with carrying the players' bag and helping in choosing the right clubs comes to mind, a female caddy is still not the first option people think of.

It is still not so common to see female caddies, especially on the PGA Tour, but times are changing and there will be a time shortly when we get to see more of it.

The LPGA has seen a few female caddies and they have performed exceptionally well. It won't take long to witness this on the men's tour as well.

Fanny was caddying for Howard Clark before she teamed up with Faldo. After parting ways with Faldo, she caddied briefly for Sergio Garcia.

Nicki Tiziani

The all-white jumpsuit with long sleeves is donned by the caddies during the major golf championship. The outfit is quite different from that of other championships and tours.

The white dress has the Masters logo on the right pocket and the caddie number on the left. It also has the name of the player on the back of the jumpsuit.

Fans will often see that the wives and girlfriends or someone from the family are usually the caddies when it comes to the Masters Tournament.

How Much Do Caddies Make On The PGA Tour

Caddies on the PGA Tour have a weekly base salary between $1,500-$3,000. PGA female caddies are also paid 10% of the player's winnings.

It is rare that we find a piece of accurate information regarding the salary of the caddies on any tour. The payment of the caddy is dealt with by the player and is often confidential between the two.

The overall salary of the caddie also depends on the player's performance and how deep they go into tournaments. The deal between the two can vary from pair to pair.

If the player fails to win a tournament, a caddie could make 5% of the winnings of the player who finishes outside the Top 10. Similarly, a 6-8% cut could be given to the caddie if the player finishes in the Top 10.

However, an agreement could be reached between the pair with the caddy either taking a higher percentage of the winnings and a low base salary and vice-versa. It all comes down to the negotiations.

If we keep aside the negotiations, a caddie can also earn from sponsorships. It will not be a big sum as compared to that of a player, but they could be representing a brand that will be embedded on their hats or sleeves.
