Damon Stoudamire family includes his wife Natasha Stoudamire and two sons. Damon has two kids named Damon Jr. and Brandon. 

The Boston Celtics assistant coach is making his way toward the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as of March 2023. They have agreed upon a five-year contract agreement for the head coach position.

Stoudamire began his coaching career as the Director of player development for Rice University in 2008. He also looked after Memphis Grizzlies in 2009.

He has gained a notable name in the college coaching field and was considered among the favorite choices of Arizona Wildcats as a potential head coach. 

Damon looked after notable Celtics players, including Jalen Brown, Sam Hausner, and Jayson Tatum, among many others.

Damon Stoudamire married his wife Natasha Taylor-Stoudamire in 2006. The two have continued their togetherness coming into 2023, seventeen years later.

Unlike her husband and kids, Natasha has resorted to private life and has garnered a minimal name for herself in sports. She has refrained from making appearances in the media and social media too.

However, she appeared at the Alabama District Court in July 2019 to testify against lawyer Donald Watkins Sr. and his son Donald Watkins Jr.

The father-son duo pleaded guilty to swindling more than $10 million over seven years of notable sportspeople, including Charles Barkley, Takeo Spikes, Bryan Thomas, and Damon.

Mrs. Stoudamire told that she could not comprehend how the Watkins duo took the victims' generational wealth that was reserved for their kids, per ESPN. Watkins Jr. had written an apology letter to Natasha after the trial.

Stoudamire has two children, both sons. Their names are Damon Jr. and Brandon.

Both sons were interested in basketball from a young age and played for quite some time. While the eldest son changed his career path, the younger plays made it to the pro league like his dad.

The eldest son of Damon and Natasha was named after his father. He was born on August 9, 1999, making him 23 years old.

Damon Jr. played basketball for the 2017-18 Lambert Varsity Boys as a point guard. The 6 feet 3 inches basketball prodigy wore jersey No. 2 during his junior year.

However, he did not continue playing after high school and became a musical artist. He works as a writer, musician, and creator who started TikTok.

Known by his initials DS2, Damon Jr. released his single 'Judgment Day' on all digital platforms in December 2022.

Brandon Stoudamire was born on June 5, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended South Forsythe High School, where he played as a guard for his school team.

The youngest Stoudamire is in his sophomore year at Mary Baldwin University, playing for the Fighting Squirrels. He has openly shared his choice to put his family over everything.

Brandon is active on Instagram as @brandonstoudamire1, where he usually shares his moments on the beach.

Damon Stoudamire Parents

Damon Stoudamire grew up with a single mother and three stepsiblings. His parents, Willie and Liz Washington did not marry.

Thus, he lived with his mother and grandmother. Willie maintains a close bond with his dad but has refrained from talking about his three step-sisters.

Meanwhile, Damon mainly posts on Liz's birthday on December 24 and Mother's Day.

Is Damon Stoudamire Related To Amare Stoudemire? 

Damon and Amare Stoudemire are not related to each other. They do not have blood ties despite many similarities between them. 

Amare was born in Lake Wales, Florida, in 1982, while Damon was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1973. Both progressed throughout their high school and college basketball years, making it big in the NBA.

Amare holds dual citizenship with Israel and played with Israeli teams from 2016 to 2020. He was a two-time Israeli Basketball Premier League champion in 2017 and 2020.

He recently worked as a player development assistant for the NBA Brooklyn Nets from 2020 to 2022. Meanwhile, Damon has quite an experience in basketball coaching since 2008.

Stoudamire won the Ben Jobe Award and WCC Coach of the Year in 2020. Being a part of the same work field, the two are aware of each other's presence despite not sharing a familial bond.
