PGA Tour Q School 2023 registration opened in January 2023. Canada 2023 has six qualifying tournaments to determine Tour membership.

Five events are scheduled in the United States, while the final qualifier will be held in Canada before the Tour’s regular season.

Crowne Isle Resort and Golf Club have already hosted seven qualifying tournaments, the most recent from June 6–9 in Courtenay, British Columbia.

The qualifying tournament offers playing spots at the six venues for competitors trying to gain the 2023 PGA Tour Canada membership.

The competition is accessible to all players. However, those who participate in a qualifying event for the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour, or PGA Canada are ineligible for the PGA TOUR University.

PGA Tour Canada 2023 Schedule

The 2023 PGA Tour Canada schedule has been recently released. It includes ten tournaments taking place from June through September.

The Royal Beach Victoria Open presented by Times Colonist on Uplands Golf Course marked the beginning of the regular season on June 12. 

This is the second year of the Fortinet Cup competition, which recognizes the top point-getters of the PGA TOUR Canada season after a successful debut season.

Ahead of the regular season, there were six qualification games. The first qualifying round took place at The Club at Weston Hills' Tour Course from February 21 to 24.

A winner on the Tour three times would be automatically promoted to the Korn Ferry Tour. The top five players on the 2023 Fortinet Cup Points List will be given 2024 Korn Ferry Tour memberships.

In addition, the top 60 competitors in the final Fortinet Cup standings will continue to be eligible to play on the PGA TOUR Canada in 2024.

PGA Tour Canada Monday Qualifying

Royal Beach Victoria Open Qualifier, a PGA Tour Canada qualifying event, took place on 12 June at Gorge Vale Golf Club and Bear Mountain.

To register for the competition the players must have an active PGA Tour Canada membership. Each course's top 20 finishers and ties will be given a spot in the Royal Beach Victoria Open.

If you are a PGA Tour Canada member looking for an opportunity to compete in a professional event, you need to think about signing up for the Monday Qualifying event.

Format: 18 Hole Stroke Play, There will be 8 spots available, Sudden victory playoff will take place upon the conclusion of the round in the event of a tie for the final spot.

The Elk Ridge Resort Golf Course is situated in Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is one of the top golfing destinations in Saskatchewan, with a 27-hole championship course that is both difficult and attractive.

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Northern Bear Golf Club is situated in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. It is located on 240 acres of land and has 18 holes with a par of 72. It has stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Eagle Creek Golf Course is situated near Dunrobin, Ontario, Canada and it is an 18-hole public golf course. There are many different difficulties on the course, including sand traps, water hazards, and rolling greens. Golfers of all skill levels enjoy playing at Eagle Creek.

Ambassador Country Golf Club is located in Windsor, Ontario. The course measures 6,645 yards from the back tees and has a par of 71.

It has been named one of the best public golf courses in Ontario and has been nominated for a number of honors, including "Best New Course" in Canada.

Southwood Golf and Country Club is a golf destination located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Thomas McBroom, a well-known Canadian architect, created the 18-hole course at Southwood Golf & Country Club to the finest standards.

PGA Tour Canada Prize Money

The prize money on the PGA Tour Canada varies for different tournaments. The prize money for the 2023 Canadian Open was set at $9 million.

Likewise, the first runner-up bagged $1.62 million, the second runner-up got $981,000, and the third runner-up took home $621,000.

Rory McIlroy won $1,566,000 for his victory in 2022. The RBC Canadian Open took place from June 8 to 11, and Nick Taylor secured first place.

It was the first time the Toronto course had hosted the competition, which was held at Oakdale Golf & Country Club. Whilst becoming the first Canadian to win the tournament in 69 years, Nick Taylor defeated Tommy Fleetwood on the fourth playoff hole.
