That was the start of Chicago's domination in the league, which would last till 1998. The likes of talented players like BJ Armstrong, Stacey King, Scott Williams, and Will Perdue helped Jordan foster on this team.

Additionally, the 1991 NBA championship marked his initial victory alongside his close friend Scottie. This dynamic pair would later proceed to secure an additional five championships, firmly establishing their dominance.

Minneapolis Lakers - 3

Minneapolis Lakers were the first 3 peat teams NBA history having won three consecutive championships from 1952 to 1954.

The team won five NBA Finals in six years, from 1949 to 1954, while they were in Minneapolis. They were also the first NBA franchise to record a back-to-back championship victory which they did in 1949 and 1950.

However, their three-peat streak began in 1952 after they defeated the New York Knicks in the Finals.

Led by head coach John Kundla, the Lakers dominated the early period of the NBA. Hall of Famer George Mikan was one of the team's star players.

In 1960, the Minneapolis Lakers made a big change by moving to Los Angeles. From then on, they became known as the Los Angeles Lakers.

Golden State Warriors - 2

The 1994-95 Rockets were a very balanced team. They had elite layers such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Otis Thorpe, and Eric Riley. They beat the New York Knicks in the 94' NBA Finals. Hakeem Olajuwon was named Finals MVP.

Similarly, Houston repeated their success the following season in 1995, effectively defending their title.

Detroit Pistons - 2

The Detroit Pistons clinched consecutive NBA championships in the years 1989 and 1990. Their third NBA title came in 2004.

Out of all odds, the Pistons won two continuous titles as they were not considered one of the favorites to win either championship.

In 1989, the Pistons overpowered the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar led the Lakers, but the Pistons were able to shut them down with their defense.
