Kenneth Faried and Wife Atar Hajali Gushes Over Building a Family Together

Kenneth and Atar Hajali began dating in mid 2017. Atar shared the couple's first picture on her Instagram page while vacationing in Mexico.  

On the other hand, Kenneth made their relationship public on Instagram in February 2018, posting a picture of them kissing at Ball Arena.

In celebration of their fifth anniversary, Kenneth shared several pictures of himself and Atar, along with a lengthy caption describing their bond over the past five years.

He also mentioned that they welcomed their first child together five years ago. Kenneth often refers to Atar as his "wifey" in his family posts on Instagram.

Professionally, Atar is currently the chief executive officer of Infinite Vision Properties, based in Atlanta, Georgia, since June 2020. She previously served as the chief operating officer of Infinite 8 LLC and was an assistant marketing manager at The One Group in Miami, Florida. 

Her LinkedIn page shows she worked as a leasing and marketing assistant for EdR Collegiate Housing in Miami for almost a year.

Atar received her public relations, advertising, and applied communication degree from Florida International University.

Kenneth Past Relationships

Kenneth's past romantic relationships are relatively unknown, but he dated a woman named Rebekah McCarty while attending Morehead State.

Rebekah and Kenneth forged a friendship as students at Morehead State University, and the duo gave birth to their daughter, Kyra, on March 12, 2010. 

Subsequently, McCarty discontinued her studies to tend to their child's needs and returned to live with her parents in Bath County, as mentioned in FindLaw. 

At the same time, Faried completed his degree and was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft in June 2011. The couple was never married or lived together.

Due to the lockout that transpired, Faried could not receive his NBA salary until December 2011.

Therefore, he took out a loan of an estimated amount between $100,000 to $300,000 to cover his living expenses and decided to provide voluntary financial assistance of $500 monthly to aid in Kyra's upbringing. 

However, McCarty later requested an increase, and Faried elevated his monthly voluntary payments to $1,000. On September 27, 2012, McCarty filed a child support motion in Bath Circuit Court, seeking $7,500 each month from Faried.

Subsequently, on October 31, 2013, the court determined that both parents should have joint custody, and Faried was ordered to pay $4,250 monthly in child support.

Additionally, Faried was mandated to establish an "educational fund" for Kyra, where he would deposit $500 per month, which would be utilized for future educational opportunities and summer camps.

Although Kenneth has not shared much about his daughter's mother, he did post a photo of his daughter and her mother on his Instagram account in August 2012. 

In the post, he asked his followers who his daughter resembled more. However, their relationship was short-lived, as Kenneth was later seen shopping with his girlfriend at The Grove in Los Angeles, California, in June 2015. 

The woman in the photo is likely the mother of his second daughter, whom he welcomed on January 8, 2016.

Kenneth Faried is a proud father of five children named Kyra, Kenzie, Kenneth III, Kenai Ali, and Kiyan Amari Faried.

He shares his three sons with his partner Atar whom he has been with since 2017.

However, Kenneth also has two daughters from his previous relationships before being with Atar. His firstborn, Kyra was born with his former college sweetheart, Reebekah on March 12, 2010.

Despite having children with different partners, Kenneth loves and cherishes all his children equally. He frequently shares pictures of his family on his Instagram, showing them on vacation and spending quality time together.

The proud father also expresses his love and pride for his children's accomplishments and growth over the years. 

Kyra Faried

Kenneth daughter Kyra Faried is an aspiring athlete who has showcased her skills in multiple sports. She currently plays for the Bath County JV girls basketball team and has also been added to the Bath County 2022 volleyball roster. 

In fact, she was even selected as the Bath County Player of the Game on January 11, 2023, as per her athletic profile on MaxPreps. The profile also displays her career stats and her team's victories, including a recent win on February 13, 2023, against Estill County High School.

Apart from her athletic pursuits, Kyra is a 7th-grade student and is expected to graduate from her schooling in 2028.

On her Instagram bio, she describes herself as a traveler who loves exploring and making new friends but has only made one post on her profile.

Kenzie Faried

Kenneth second daughter Kenzie Faried was born on January 8, 2016, and is currently seven years of age. 

The professional basketball player shared the first glimpses of his adorable second-born child on her first birthday, in which she was captured devouring a slice of her birthday cake.

A family picture of the toddler with her siblings was also taken at Ball Arena in November 2018. The NBA star's social media activity indicates that Kenzie likely resides with her mother as there are limited images of her on his Instagram page. 

However, pictures of the father-daughter duo can be found on the Instagram page of Kenzie's grandfather Kenneth Benard. The pair is frequently seen enjoying each other's company and engaging in fun activities.

Kenneth Has Three Sons

Kenneth and his partner Atar welcomed their first son, Kenneth Bernard Faried Lewis III, into the world on February 14, 2018. 

Subsequently, the couple was blessed with a second child, Kenai Ali Faried Lewis, born on May 8, 2019, during the third day of Ramadan. 

Their third son, Kiyan Amari Faried, was born on August 12, 2020.

Moreover, the couple has initiated an Instagram account for their three sons, entitled The Faried Boyz, which purportedly operates Baby Manimal and Kurl Kings which sell baby items.

Kenneth Faried parents are Kenneth Lewis Sr and Waudda Faried. Kenneth Sr. met Waudda while she was employed at a warehouse. 

A friend introduced Kenneth and Waudda on a blind date, which he was initially reluctant to attend. However, basketball became their shared passion, and they began spending weekends together at the local playground.

They played together on the same team and shared meals afterward, becoming inseparable. The couple never married but raised their young son Kenneth in Newark, New Jersey. 

The duo often took their son to play in the inner-city basketball courts. Initially, the young boy sat on a bench and watched his mother and father play pickup games. 

While Waudda was the only female player, her tight braids, baggy shirt, and fearless playstyle made her blend in with the other players, as mentioned in ESPN.

In high school, Waudda was a celebrated basketball player, capable of easily charging through defenders or scoring a 3-pointer, standing tall at 5-foot-11. 

Kenneth's romantic relationship with Waudda ultimately ended, as they went their separate ways. Interestingly, Waudda had planned to marry her partner after New Jersey legalized same gender marriage in 2007. However, the event was postponed due to her medical condition.

In a separate story, Faried appeared in a video with his two mothers, Carol Copeland and Waudda, who had entered into a civil union in New Jersey in 2007—the video aimed to promote the passage of a civil-unions law in Colorado.

Faried's moms, who had been together for over a decade, revealed how civil-union protections had benefited Carol's care of her partner.
