John Deere Classic is a PGA tour event held annually at TPC Deere Run golf course in Silvis, Illinois. The event started out as a satellite event for the PGA tour in 1971 named Quad Cities Open but it gained the status of official tour event the following year in 1972.

The golf tournament has held numerous names in its over half-century-long history. It was initially named Quad Cities Open then changed to Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open, again the name was changed to Quad Cities Open, and so on.

The current name John Deere Classic was first used in 1999. James Tyree Poston will head onto the 2023 tournament as the defending champion.

John Deere Classic 2023 odds projects Russell Henley's win percentage at 6.7% followed by Emiliano Grillo and Taylor Moore at 4.7% and 4.2% respectively. Henley is the only athlete with over 50% odds of securing a top 20 position.

1. J.T. Poston - 2022

J.T. Poston won the 2022 John Deere Classic with a margin of 3 strokes. Poston took home $1,278,000 for his sweet -27 par victory.

Poston's first PGA victory was on August 4, 2019, at Wyndham Championship. His second victory was at the 2022 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run where he won wire-to-wire, meaning he led all four stages before bagging the victory.

James won with a score of -27 par, his 62-65-67-69=263, but he won with just three strokes margin. The runner-up of the event Christiaan Bezuidenhout had a score of -24 par.

2. Lucas Glover - 2021

Lucas Glover won John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in 2021. Glover scored −19 par winning the PGA tour event with 2 strokes.

3. Dylan Frittelli - 2019

Dylan Frittelli is the winner of the 2019 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run. Dylan won over runner-up Russell Henley with 2 strokes.

Dylan's 2019 victory at John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run is his only PGA Tour win so far. He won with a score of -21 par and two strokes over runner-up Russell Henley. Dylan's score was 66-68-65-64=263 which earned him $1,080,000 of prize money.

4. Michael Kim - 2018

Michael Kim won the 2018 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run with -27 par. Kim won by 8 strokes over the runner ups setting both stroke and par records.

Kim is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. He played college golf at the University of California, Berkeley, and became the Pac-12 Men's Golfer of the Month. He also received the 2013 Jack Nicklaus Award.

He turned professional in December 2013 and started playing on Web.com Tour in 2014 with limited status and also in 2015. He finished the 2015 Web.com Tour in 13th position earning him a spot on the PGA Tour.

Michael had to wait until 2018 to bag his first victory on PGA Tour. However, he set two records on his first win.

TPC Deere Run course record of -27 par and 8 strokes set by Michae have not been broken as of 2023. Kim's winning score was 63-64-64-66=257 earning him $1,044,000 prize money.

5. Bryson DeChambeau - 2017

Bryson DeChambeau is the winner of the John Deere Classic held in 2017. Bryson scored −18 par at TPC Deere Run winning the event by 1 stroke.

DeChambeau is an American professional golfer currently playing in LIV Golf League. Bryson played college golf for the Southern Methodist University in Texas, United States of America. He won the NCAA individual championship in 2015 during his collegiate career.
