Jaccob Slavin wife Kylie Slavin appeared in the Canes Corner podcast in March 2018. Jaccob has a daughter named Emersyn Slavin.

Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob is best known for wearing No. 74 during his games on the NHL rink.

He and the Canes left winger Nino Niederreiter had accompanied their head coach Rod Brind’Amour in a Zoom meeting with the media after their practice in 2021.

Slavin is also the team's alternate captain and has been named to one All-star game in 2020. The following year, he was awarded the prestigious Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for his sportsmanship.

He credits the support of his family members, who regularly attend his games to cheer for him, for his success.

Jaccob Slavin Married Life

Jaccob Slavin married his wife, Kylie Neal on August 8, 2015 in North Carolina. Meanwhile, she is mainly known by her nickname Ky. 

The two have been dating since June 2013, when they were teenagers.

Jake's Instagram, @jslavin74, is filled with their first pictures from the early days they went on dates.

The pair once went to a Taylor Swift concert in June 2013 while their love life was filled with numerous hikes. Ky made constant visits to Jake during his games with Colorado College.

Kylie celebrates her birthday on April 8 each year. She is a month older than her hubby; meanwhile, Jake never forgets to wish her a birthday on his social media.

From their love during their teenage days to adopting dogs, the two grew close and married within two years of their relationship.

Jaccob and Kylie's wedding was an intricate ceremony with few guests, including close friends and immediate relatives. 

Before the big day, he had proposed to her on March 25. 

Jake called himself the luckiest man in the world to say he was married to such a beautiful bride on his Instagram. Ky's dad had walked her down the aisle with a smile.

The couple also adopted a new Goldendoodle male puppy named Simba in October of the same year. Meanwhile, they were already parents to another female fur baby, Dixie.

Dixie and Simba continue to be a part of the Slavin household coming into 2023. Simba has accompanied Jaccob in many of his interviews.

The defenseman continues to share his wedding photos on each anniversary.

Jaccob Slavin Adopted A Daughter

Jaccob Slavin and Kylie are parents to a daughter named Emersyn Slavin. The baby was born in 2019 in Rayleigh.

The couple adopted her during the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs in April. Jake had taken a day off from practice to attend to "personal matters," which was later revealed to be the adoption of his little one.

Emersyn was an infant at the time of her adoption. She took over the NHL fandom when she scored four times in five shots into a mini net at home, as seen on Jake's late June 2021 Instagram story.

She was practicing with her dad, and the video made rounds online due to her cuteness and potential skill as a hockey player.

Jake and Ky call the little one "Baby E" and take her to each NHL game.

Jaccob Slavin Son Charles

Charles Jaccob Slavin was born on July 15, 2022, to Ky and Jake. He is the family's youngest member and the only son of parents.

He is known as Charlie in the house, while Jake called him a little peanut when he was born. Charlie weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces at the time of his birth at 6:21 pm on July 15 evening.

Likewise, he was 19 inches long at that time. Jake thanked all the doctors and nurses involved in his birth at the hospital.

While Emersyn has grown up to carry hockey sticks, Charlie stays under his mother's care. Kylie took her children to Jake's game at Carter-Finley Stadium on February 18, 2023.

Jaccob Slavin Parents

Jaccob Slavin was born to his parents, Robert Slavin and Wendi Slavin, in Erie, Colorado. He is the third child among the five Slavin kids.

Both Rob and Wendi are Colorado natives, where they continue to live. Wendi initially wanted a horse farm, but she became busy driving her kids to the rink and gave up.

Meanwhile, Rob ran an auto body shop and opted for a big house to look after their five babies. The Slavin pair later accepted foster kids and also became billet parents.

They took in hockey players who came to play in the area from out of town.

Momma Wendi is active on Instagram as @winkybird, where she usually posts about her kids and grandkids. She attends most of Jake's games alongside Rob, Ky, and Emersyn.

The defenseman makes sure to visit her each Mother's Day. In an April 2022 interview with NHL, Wendi revealed that she taught Jake to practice ice hockey by putting M&Ms on the rink.

Jaccob tried the same trick with Emerysn though the little one only ate the candy instead of getting up and practicing.

Likewise, he is also close to his billet folks, Jaime and Colin Faulkner, in Chicago. He calls them "The Faulks" with love.

Jaccob Slavin Siblings

Jaccob Slavin has four siblings, a sister named Jordan and three brothers, Justin, Josiah, and Jeremiah. Justin is the eldest, followed by Jordan, Jaccob, Josiah, and Jeremiah.

All these five Slavin kids grew up to be involved in ice hockey. Their parents' constant support made them play the sport as professional players.

Meanwhile, unlike their younger brothers, Jordan and Justin did not pursue a pro career.

Justin David Lee Slavin is the eldest child of Rob and Wendi. He started rollerblading at and young age and moved to hockey.

He and Jaccob were teammates for the Bender's Bar & Grill team in 2013. However, he changed his career course and became a police officer at the Erie Police Department.

Justin initially tried to be a strength coach and physical trainer but eventually chose to be in the police.

Jordan Slavin

The only daughter of the ice-hockey clan, Jordan harbored an interest in skating when she was three. She grew up becoming a dean of students at her local high school and an ice hockey player.

At only four years old, she started playing hockey at Hyland Hills Hockey Association. She had been playing with boys until she made it to The Powerade at the Peewee World Championship.

Jordan later played Division I hockey at the University of North Dakota. She also represented the U.S.A at Under-18 World Championship, where she and her teammates bagged a silver medal.

Meanwhile, she was a summer coach for Turcotte Stick Handling School and Hockey Ministries International during her uni days. Jordan later coached at Bar Down Shooting Center as an instructor.

She married Tyler Smith in July 2016 and has remained away from the limelight.

Josiah Slavin

Josiah is the fourth child and Jaccob's younger brother. He was born on December 31, 1998, and was the fasted kid among his siblings to potty train.

He plays left wing for the San Diego Gulls in the AHL. He played college-level ice hockey at Colorado College, just like Jake.

The Chicago Blackhawks selected the 24-year-old in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. However, he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks on February 23, 2022.

He is now a prospect for the Ducks after his time ends with the Gulls. He has been married to Cali Slavin since August 1, 2021.

Jeremiah Slavin

The youngest member of the family, Jeremiah plays for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the United States Hockey League - a Tier I junior league.

However, he had to spend most of his earliest years strapped in a car seat, going from rink to rink to accompany his mom, brothers, and sister.

He is currently in a relationship with Annika Stroessner, a University of North Dakota student. His Instagram indicates that the two spent the 2022 holiday season together.

Like all of his elder kin, Jeremiah is also a devout Christian. The Slavin kids follow the ideology of All Glory To God in their lives and social media posts as well.
