Forza Motorsport 8 did not feature drag racing during its official release and developers do not plan to do so anytime soon. It is focused on circuit racing.

The latest edition of the racing game series published by Xbox Game Studios will complete a month of its release in a day's time. This was their thirteenth main installment in the Forza series.

The game with over 500 cars and 800 upgrades has been rated 8/10 by IGN and received a 85 Metascore. The video game has had a favorable reception with many players really loving the game and some have had a disliking due to certain bugs.

The game has some cool features such as say tracing in real-time on the track, dynamic time of day, tire wear, dirt buildup, and more.

However, drag racing is not part of Forza Motorsport as the game is built around track racing. It is not like the Forza Horizon series which is set in an open world and has featured this mode of play.

Forza Motorsport 8 Drag Racing

Forza Motorsport 8 drag racing was not part of the game at launch. The developers entirely focused on circuit racing and drag races might be added later on.

Turn 10 Studios has been keen on focusing on circuit races since the beginning. Even the drift modes were not available for players during the launch.

There is a slight possibility that the drag races and drift modes might feature in the game as the game progresses. There has been no official confirmation regarding it and are only speculations as of now.

The previous editions of Forza Motorsport did feature drag strips when it launched. Many Fiirza fans want and are excited about the inclusion of these race types. However, it is unclear if it actually makes it to the game or not.

The car list, tracks, and physics behind the game have been entirely based on the sole decision to focus on circuit racing.

Best D Class Car Forza Motorsport

The 2000 Nissan Silvia Spec-R is the best Class D car in Forza Motorsport because of its all-around aspects. The 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo is a close competitor.

It is actually tough to choose between the two Nissan models as both are amazing options. For some, the 1994 Twin Turbo is a go-to car and for some, the 200 Spec-R is the choice.

It all comes down to the player's preferences while choosing the car. It depends on whether they want speed over handling or vice versa, acceleration, and other aspects. The price too is another factor.

Forza Motorsport Stuck On Applying Upgrade How To Fix It?

Source : twitter

The career progress saving bug stuck on applying upgrade error can be fixed by NOT adjusting the fuel and tires at the very beginning of the race.

First things first, you need to test and see whether the bug happened without having completed the race or not. Players could simply test it by trying to take a picture by going to the photo mode at any point during a race.

If you are not able to do so and are stuck with a spinning wheel on the screen and not being able to save the picture, you know the answer. You will not be able to save any progress in your career.

If you come across the option asking where to save the file, you are all good. It means that you are not bugged with the career progress saving bug.

How To Fix Stuck On Applying Upgrade In Forza Motorsport?

Players could simply try out these four methods to fix the bug:

  • Do not adjust the fuel and tires at the start of a race
  • Update the game
  • Verify and Repair

Once you have the results of adjusting the fuel and tires before the race starts leads to hampering the game, you could try not adjusting it. Many players have found this method to be working for them.

Sometimes all the game needs is a simple update and many bugs are addressed through it. You could do so by:

  • Clicking on "Manage"
  • Click on "Files" and then "Check on Updates"
  • If there is an update, click on the update option

It is not a guarantee that this is the ultimate solution and it wil always work. You could always try out this method and see if it works or not.

Another option is to verify and repair the broken game. You can find the "Verify" option under "Manage" > "Files". Then select the "Repair" option and click on "Yes".
