Coy Wire married wife Claire Wire on April 5, 2008. The joyful couple has been together as a family for 14 years.

He dropped a picture of the two sharing an intimidating kiss in a hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, on Instagram in April 2018 as they celebrated their 11 years of jubilant union.  

Although Coy has kept the details of their dating life under the rug, he frequently uploads and shares pictures of Claire and their two children on social media. 

Besides, Coy and Claire have been gallivanting around the world, traveling to new places and indulging in the culture and lifestyles of the place they visit.

In June 2015, the duo vacationed in Germany, where the astonishing beauty of Alpsee lake and the natural geographies in Bavaria struck them. 

Similarly, they set out for a trip to Rome, Italy, in July 2016. Coy and Claire captured stunning snapshots posing for photos in the backdrop of numerous historic Roman landmarks, including Castel Sant'Angelo, Monterosso al Mare, and the Colosseum.

Coy and Claire enjoyed the beach and swimming in the seashore on the island of Turks & Caicos in May 2017. The same year in June, the two romantic souls celebrated Claire's 31st birthday with a sip of wine in Atlanta.

Claire was born Claire Francis Glover in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born to parents, John Glover and Diane Glover. The 36-year-old is a professional interior designer with a solid educational background. 

Glover earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta, per her Linkedin. During her time at the institute, Claire was exposed to various design courses such as color theory, spatial composition, and design history. 

Similarly, her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University gives her a unique perspective when designing interior spaces. 

After completing her education, Claire started working as an internal designer and founded her design firm, Claire Wire Interiors, in 2012.

As the Principal Designer, she oversees all aspects of the design process, from conceptualization to implementation.

Her skills in whole house renovations, interior architecture, space planning, and design and sketching allow her to create comprehensive design plans tailored to her client's specific needs and preferences.

Furthermore, Claire's educational background in psychology and interior design and her extensive experience as an interior designer make her a highly skilled and qualified professional. 

Coy Wire has been blessed with two children namely Wrenn Annette and Ruby Jane Wire. 

On February 2018, the CNN anchor took to social media and broke the good news about expecting his first child. He wrote a lengthy emotional caption with a picture of him, Claire, and her pregnant belly.

Wire penned that he was excited to be a dad and highly grateful to her family and friends' blessing and selfless love. 

Then in April 2018, Claire, who does not engage much on socials, dropped a picture of her glowing in her enlarged belly a month before the due date. She shared her 9-month journey and the struggles that come within, revealing the baby's gender as a girl.

Coy's first baby Wrenn Annette Wire was born on May 3, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. 

He posted a picture of the newborn on his Instagram, saying he found the greatest joy in his life. Coy could not contain his excitement as in every picture, his face shows pure joy and bliss.

Likewise, Coy and Claire welcomed their second daughter Ruby Jane home on September 16, 2020.

He dropped a picture of the infant with mother Claire, who still managed to put a smile on her face after a prolonged labor. 

Just a month before the arrival of baby number two, Coy and Claire drove 1800 miles to Arizona to meet her parents, John and Diane. 

Wrenn, the couple's eldest child, has reached four years of age, while Ruby, their youngest, celebrated her second birthday in September of 2022.

In February 2019, while the former Buffalo Bills safety was embarking on a journey to Tokyo, he shared an Instagram post revealing his lineage to a Japanese origin. 

Wire mentioned that his grandmother Hideko Fujishima came from the Land of the Rising Sun. However, because of his grandma's passing when his mom Jane was just a baby, he has barely any ties with his brood in the country.

Additionally, Jane is a retired software analyst, whereas his father, Rick Wire, worked at Dynamite Sports. Rick was born in Dauphin, Pennsylvania, and completed his education at Central Dauphin East Senior High School.

Wire played 127 games in the NFL with the Bills and the Falcons. He played safety for the Buffalo Bills in his rookie year before shifting to the special team. 

Besides, Coy experienced hair loss early in his life. Thus to avoid the stigma associated with it, he shaved his head completely to make it appear to have always had a shaved head.
