Clemson Football has won numerous national titles in college football where they compete. They have a famous past that began with their establishment in 1896.

The team's home stadium Death Valley is famed for its electrifying atmosphere and the roar of its characteristic orange and purple uniforms, which have grown recognizable over time.

They have produced some of the best quarterbacks in college football history. A few quarterbacks who have worn the orange and purple kit include Charlie Whitehurst, Tajh Boyd, and Trevor Lawrence. A gifted quarterback from Austin, Texas, Cade Klubnik attended Westlake High School. During his time in high school, he attracted attention for his strong arm, accuracy, and football brilliance.

He became one of the top quarterback prospects in the country as a result of his performances and is a 5-star recruit. His decision to play collegiate football for the Clemson Tigers excited Clemson supporters.

He completed 7,426 passes for eighty-six touchdowns and 7 interceptions during his high school career, winning 3 state championships. Klubnik largely served as DJ Uiagalelei's backup during his rookie campaign.

Klubnik passed for 49 yards and scored a touchdown against Georgia Tech in Clemson's 2022 season opener. After Uiagalelei joined the transfer portal, Cade started for the Tigers against Tennessee in the Orange Bowl of 2022.

He is currently the starting Quarterback of Clemson Tigers Football.

David John Uiagalelei is currently an Oregon State quarterback who previously played for the Clemson Tigers Football from 2020 to the 2022 year.

After starting QB Lawrence tested positive for COVID against the Boston Eagles On 31 October 2020, Uiagalelei got his first starting nod. He had a pretty good game in his first start as he completed 342 yards, 31 passes in 40 attempts, and got to score two touchdowns, where they came from behind to defeat the Eagles.

He again got the starting berth in place of Lawrence who was ruled out on 7 November 2020 versus the unbeaten Notre Dame, Uiagalelei was on his top form with an impressive display but they went on to lose against them despite going to the additional time on the 47-40 score line. In that game, he made 439 yards, got 29 of 44 passes completed, and scored 2 touchdowns.

In his second year, after Lawrence joined the NFL, Clemson QBs Uiagalelei was given the duty of starting QB. But, in his first game against Georgia Bulldogs, he couldn't show his level and went on to lose 10-3. He had very poor stats that game.

Later, he was replaced by youngster Cade Klubnik for the ACC Championship and decided to leave the team and was listed for sale.

Will Taylor - 2021

Taylor is a baseball player, who plays as a outfielder for the Clemson Tigers baseball team. Yet, he was the Quarterback for the Clemson Football team in 2021.

It is clear that he is a two-sport player and a multi-talented player, who is not afraid of trying different things and has a love for multiple sports as he played football in two different positions. He also played as a wide receiver and often as a quarterback for Clemson.

On September 11, 2021, Taylor made his first appearance with a good amount of playing time against South Carolina which they went on to win by a whopping 49-3 scoreline.

But in Clemson's 5th match against Boston, his season ended after he suffered a nasty knee injury. However, after this injury, he moved to a different sport baseball but in the same college.

Trevor Lawrence - 2020

Having joined the Clemson Tigers Football College from high school in Cartersville, Georgia in 2018. He was regarded as one of the highly potential players.

As a newcomer with Clemson, Trevor Lawrence bagged the National Championship Game. He was a deputy to the starter Kelly Bryant in his first season. But managed to get a good amount of playing time in the first game of the season.

After just 4 matches he was given the role of starter and had an impressive first season as a true freshman with 3280 passing and 30 touchdowns that season, which led him to win freshman awards.

He had a pretty decent second year with the Tigers. Likewise, in the first 6 matches of the final, he had 1833 passing yards, 2 interceptions, and scored 17 touchdowns.

He led the team back to the ACC championship and was picked for the college football playoff berth. He finished the season with 3153 passing yards, and 5 interceptions while scoring 24 touchdowns. He was awarded the ACC Player of the Year in his final season.

He now plays for the NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars.

Taisun Phommachanh - 2019

He joined Clemson Tigers in 2019 January and is a former 4-star prospect. He played for 3 years at Clemson and is a threat in aerial ability.

In his first season for the Tigers, he had 43 snap plays in 3 games with 6 out of 12 passes for fifty-six yards and 56 yards on 12 carries rushing. In his debut game, he rushed 5 times for 21 yards against Georgia.

In 2020, Taisun along with Uiagalelei was a deputy to the starter Trevor Lawrence. In 2021 Phommachanh got an injury on his Achilles but returned back to play 6 times that year. He completed 200 yards and scored two touchdowns.

He was named on the transfer portal in the last month of 2021 and in 2022 May he left the club for Georgia.

Chase Brice - 2018

Brice was a third-choice quarterback in picking order behind Bryant and Lawrence but was given a backup role soon after Bryant requested a transfer.

He got to play his first game after the starting QB Lawrence suffered from a head injury during the match against Syracuse, Brice came on in from the bench to replace the injured Lawrence and helped the team win the game by 27-23 which they were trailing before he came on.

Fortunately, the victory gave them a chance to get into the College Football Playoff, later managed to get the playoff spot as they were crowned the National Championship title two times in three seasons.

In the 2019 season, he was again given a backup role to Lawrence, and in the 2020 season, he decided to leave the Tigers for Duke as a graduate, where he got a starring role in the first season.

Hunter Johnson - 2017

Former Clemson Tiger quarterback Hunter Johnson played quarterback for the team back in 2017. From Brownsburg, Indiana, he was a highly-rated high school quarterback prospect.

He was considered one of the best takes on in the Clemson Tigers because of the skills and talents that he had. However, he made a dedication to play football in college for the Clemson Tigers football and joined the team in 2017.

He began his studies at Clemson in 2017, and as a true freshman, he saw little playing time. He was Clemson's backup quarterback to Kelly Bryant, who was a starter.

In 7 matches he played for Clemson, he managed a throwing for 234 yards and threw for 2 touchdown passes in his freshman year. Likewise, he also finished 21 of 27 passes in his very little playing time and contributed as a rusher, gaining seventy-seven yards on the ground.

After completion of high school, Bryant joined Clemson Tiger for college in 2015. He mainly was a backup QB to Watson for the Tigers.

2016 was his second year at the Tigers, he was a deputy QB but got to play some games. During that year, he completed 18 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 178 Rushing Yards, and 2 Rushing touchdowns. He won ACC Championships in the 2015 and 2016 seasons with the Tigers playing as a backup.

In 2017, he was promoted to starting QB, after starter Watson left the team for the NFL draft, he had a good time as a starter. He guided the Tigers to the College Football Playoff and managed to reach the last four in the 2017 season.

That season he played 14 games, made a passing yards of 2802, completed 13 passing touchdowns with 8 interceptions, and rushing yards of 665.

Even after having a successful season with the Tigers, his starting place was ultimately taken by a newcomer QB Trevor Lawrence in the 2018 season, which forced him to transfer to Missouri.

Deshaun Watson - 2015

Following completion of High School Deshaun Watson joined the Clemson Tigers Football College. He was an important quarterback for the Tigers.

In his first year, he served as a backup QB but in his second year in 2015, he was given a starting role and guided the team to an unbeaten 12-0 regular season. They qualified for the ACC Championship and played against Carolina. Watson's brilliant performance with 289 yards throw, 3 touchdowns, 131 yards run, and scored 2 touchdowns that led the Tigers to a 45-37 victory. 

Clemson won that title after 2011. ACC Championship Game Most Valuable Player was awarded to Deshaun Watson after his top performance. He was busy with Clemson Football Schedule.

In 2015, he had a passing yard of 4104 in total, an impressive 35 touchdown passes, and a 67.8% passing completion percentage.

His amazing displays made him one of the highly-rated quarterbacks in college football and now plays the NFL for the Cleveland Browns.

Cole Stoudt - 2014

Former Clemson Tiger quarterback Cole Stoudt played quarterback for the team. From 2011 through 2014, he was a player for Clemson. In his early years, he played deputy to Tajh Boyd which restricted his game time.

After Tajh Boyd graduated for the 2014 campaign, Stoudt took over as the starting quarterback for Clemson. The team had very high hopes because he was replacing a quarterback who had achieved great success.

During the 2014 campaign, Stoudt experienced various historic times, which included a victory over Oklahoma in the Russell Athletic Bowl. In his senior year, he passed for more than 3,100 yards and scored 19 touchdowns.

Stoudt began the 2014 season as the starter at quarterback, but due to injury concerns and poor form, he eventually made way for the highly anticipated freshman Deshaun Watson, who was a highly-rated youngster.

Cole Stoudt's time at Clemson was prominent for his commitment and diligence. He helped the squad succeed and served as a reliable link between the Tajh Boyd and Deshaun Watson eras.
