Stuart Skinner married wife Chloe Skinner on June 27, 2020. Stuart and Chloe welcomed their first child Beau Skinner on January 14, 2023.
Skinner is widely known for playing with the Lethbridge Hurricanes as a goaltender during his junior years.
The goalie debuted with Edmonton Oilers on January 31, 2021. The Oil won with 8-5 points against the Ottawa Senators that night.

Stuart Skinner wife Chloe Skinner goes by her maiden name Ing. They met during his early career in WHL while playing in Lethbridge.
Skinner was 21 when he tied the knot with Chloe on June 27, 2020.
The wedding ceremony was in the backyard of the Ing house while her mother, Jeri Lynn Ing, set up the decorations.
She called it her dream wedding, a simple yet elegant ceremony.
On the other hand, Stuart called himself the luckiest man alive to marry the most beautiful bride. The two called their nuptials’ indication as always and forever in their pictures.
After the ceremony, the Skinner couple went out in the wild to shoot their pictures. In one of the pictures, the pair stood up on a giant rock while Stuart popped up champagne.
They continue to share the memories on their social media each year on their anniversary.
Chloe continued to stay with her husband though he often traveled between Wichita, Bakersfield, and Edmonton in the 2021-2022 season.
One month is the longest time they stayed apart which was during the end of the 2021 season due to Mike Smith’s injury. Stuart had replaced Mike hoping that the recovery time would be short.

Stuart Skinner and Chloe announced their pregnancy in a July 2022 Instagram post. They welcomed their son, Beau Stuart on January 14, 2023.
He was born at 10:52 a.m. on a Saturday morning, weighing healthily at seven pounds and four ounces.
Stuart had missed Oilers’ final two games to return home to Chloe for his arrival. The Oilers that day won against the Vegas Golden Knights with a 4-3 win, doubling the happy news for everyone.
The Skinner couple wrote that they were “Utterly and completely in love” with their little one.
Chloe’s Instagram is fully dedicated to her motherhood as of now. She calls him Beau bear and shares his growth on her social media handles.
Stuart Skinner Childhood Growing Up
Skinner was born to his parents Sam Skinner and Sue Skinner. Both of them are native to Edmonton, Canada.
The couple named all their kids after the letter “S.”
Hence, the youngest, Stuart, also got his name due to this tradition. Sam is a graduate of Riverside High School and is an ice hockey enthusiast. He was close to his every son’s ice hockey journey.
Skinner senior coached his youngest son in spring hockey with the help of other elder children. The couple prioritized their nine kids’ extracurricular interests in their Edmonton home.
Mrs. Skinner resorted to a life away from the media while Sam is open to talking about his son’s accomplishments.
Dad Skinner previously said that he and his relatives were happy that Stuart made it to the 2014 U17 games of Canada Black, representing their homeland.
Stuart is the youngest of nine siblings. He has three elder brothers and five elder sisters.
All nine Skinner kids grew up in figure skating and later played hockey. In a 2014 interview with Hockey Canada, Sam revealed that even though his kids were not into formal skating, they always played around the ice.
Hence, choosing to play ice hockey for a living became a main go for many members of this household.
Stuart’s brothers, Stephen, Scott, and Sheldon are all involved in ice hockey. Meanwhile, he made it to the NHL and the Canadian national team as a teenager.
Scott and Sheldon looked over his spring hockey training as assistant coaches.
All of his sisters, Sarah, Sandra, Sharon, Shannon, and Samantha figure skated. The Skinner siblings are now married and parents to their own kids.
