Kevin Warren wife Greta Warren graduated from Kansas State University. Kevin married Greta in 1992 at Metropolitan Baptist Temple in Kansas.

Kevin is the CEO and team president of the Chicago Bears of the NFL. He took the position on January 12, 2023.

Kevin Warren and Greta Warren have been together since 1992. Kevin resides in Greater Chicago Area with his family.

Greta was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism at Kansas State University.

She started working at the age of seven. Greta saw her father leave his three jobs and launch his own barbecue restaurant.

His father worked hard, and Greta didn’t get to see her father much. She worked at his father’s restaurant, but her parents prioritized Greta’s education.

She then went on to complete her broadcast journalism bachelor’s degree with a theater minor. She was the first person in her household to earn a college degree, reports Vikings.

Kevin And Greta Are Involved In Philanthropy

Philanthropy has become a major pillar in the life of Kevin and Greta. They established Carolyn’s Comforts in 2014 in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital.

They donated $1 million in memory of Kevin’s sister Carolyn Elaine Warren-Knox, who passed from brain cancer in October 2014. Over 150 financial scholarships have been given to deserving families since Carolyn’s Comforts was established.

Kevin and Warren also host yearly holiday dinners for hospital staff, patients, and their families in November and December.

Greta often spends time in the third-grade classes at Lucy Craft Laney Community School because she is connected to that age group. They donated over 900 backpacks full of school supplies to Lucy Craft Laney Community School in Minneapolis.

In 2019, they also established The Warren Family Foundation. The non-profit teamed up in 2020 with The Dewey School of Excellence, a Chicago-based Academy of Urban School Leadership.

They have also founded the Kevin & Greta Warren Family Emergency Assistance Fund at the University of Notre Dame Law School for a needy student.

Inside Kevin Warren Family Life

Warren grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, with his family. Kevin grew up playing football with his dad Dr. Morrison Warren Sr.

Dr. Morrison played football for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1948, and his mother, Margaret, worked as a sharecropper for a year.

Dr. Morrison became the first African-American to take a position for a significant college bowl game, and he was elected President of the 1982 Fiesta Bowl Board of Directors.

Margaret completed her college education and obtained a Ph.D. and a master’s degree. At the age of 40, she chose to work as a librarian because she enjoyed reading. 

Kevin’s elder brother, Morrison Warren, Jr., played football at Stanford, and he was one of the first African-American scholarship student players at Stanford.

Kevin and Greta have two children, a son Powers Warren and a daughter Peri Warren.

Powers played football at Michigan State University. Peri is pursuing her master’s degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprise from Northwestern University.

Kevin Son Powers Warren

Powers is a football-tight end at Michigan State. He was born on November 24, 1998.

He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021 and currently pursuing his master’s degree in Kinesiology.

Powers joined the Spartan team in 2021. He played in six games for the Bulldogs during his four years at Mississippi State. He played in eight offensive plays during the 2021 season. 

He caught 28 catches for 507 yards and two scores as a senior. According to 247Sports, he was the state’s 35th-best overall player and the third-best tight-end prospect in Minnesota for the class of 2017.

Powers enjoys spending time with his parents. On February 18, 2019, he and his mom and dad were at Church and Union Charlotte.

Kevin Daughter Peri Warren

Peri played volleyball at Occidental College in Los Angeles.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Occidental College in 2019. She is enrolled at Northwestern University to study for a Master’s degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprises.

Peri is interested in nonprofit work, entrepreneurship, and PR/Marketing. She supports her brother Powers and attends his games.

On November 13, 2018, she attended her brother’s game at Bryant–Denny Stadium with her mom and dad. 

She is active on her Instagram account with the username @perichantelle. As of writing, she has 917 followers and 54 posts on her Instagram account.
