Through his successful and illustrious tenure in boxing, the former Irish professional fighter laid the foundation for his two extraordinary sons, Tommy and Tyson Fury, to follow in his footsteps and achieve their remarkable feats.

Tyson Fury's unparalleled skills as a boxer earned him the distinction of being a two-time world super heavyweight boxing champion, with victories in the 2007 Warsaw and 2008 London competitions.

Similarly, Tammy has also made her mark in the boxing world, winning eight out of eight professional bouts.

Chantal rarely appears in the media; she prefers to avoid the spotlight. However, when her son was a contestant on the reality television show "Love Island," she also appeared in one of the episodes.

The segment features Tommy's brother and mum, who joined him on the daybed to give the boxer their seal of approval on his new girlfriend.

Similarly, Chantal also gushes over his time in the villa, saying she is proud of him. The episode also highlights some families talk where Molly-Mae, his now partner's mom, before leaving the villa.

Further, Chantal is often spotted rooting for her son during his bouts. In April 2022, when Fury took time away from the final preparations for his return to the ring, he was spotted having a pleasant stroll with his mom and dad.

Before heading to London, Tommy made sure to spend quality time with his mother and father.

John Fury Married Twice

John has been married twice in his life. He first married Amber Fury then tied the knot with Chantal Fury.

During his boxing career, John met Amber. They fell in love and married, and soon after, they had four children. Three of their children were boys named Tyson, Shane, and Hughie, and one was a daughter named Ramona.

John's only daughter, Ramona, tragically passed away months after birth. The family was devastated, and it took them a long time to heal from the loss.

John and Amber's marriage began to disintegrate as the years went by. They gradually grew apart, and eventually, they decided to divorce.

Following the divorce, John met a new woman named Chantal. They fell in love right away since she was of Mauritius heritage. John was overjoyed to have discovered someone new, and he welcomed two more children into his life: Tommy and Roman, his two sons.

As John watched his children grow and thrive, he knew he had made the right choices in life. He may have been a former boxing player, but his greatest victories were the relationships he had built with his family.

A Glimpse Of John Fury Family Tree

John came from a family of Irish traveller descent. They moved to Manchester in England when he was four years old.

His brother, Peter, was also involved in boxing and trained Tommy and Tyson as kids. However, he was a kingpin in a criminal group that operated throughout the North East.

Peter gained millions from the illicit narcotics trade by heading up the supply chain of illegal amphetamine, primarily from Denmark, into the North of England.

However, due to his antics, the 51-year-old was in custody for ten years in 1995. Before his release, he was required to return almost £1 million in unlawful earnings to the authorities.

Despite his sentence, Peter continued to operate his illicit company. Continuing his business after his release, he was detained briefly in 2008 for money laundering. Peter relocated to France, where he now enjoys a wealthy lifestyle on the French Riviera.

Along with John, Peter was vital to forging the boys' boxing careers, and Tyson has previously described his uncle as his 'guardian angel.'
He now believes that concentrating on the boys' boxing training helped him leave his life of crime behind.

John's other brother, Hughie, tragically perished in a bizarre accident while unhitching a trailer.

With several injuries, he decided to leave the hospital against medical advice and eventually passed from a blood clot after neglecting to take anti-clotting medicine. Tyson dropped out of a bout to be with his uncle during his final two months in intensive care.

John Athletic Family Extends Beyond

Fury's nephew's (Tommy's cousins) are also in boxing. His cousin Hosea Burton, also known as "The Hammer in the Ring," has been making waves in his hometown of Manchester as a rising star.

He started playing professionally at 27, has an impressive, unblemished record of 14 victories in 14 matches, and  currently holds the British light-heavyweight title.

Tommy's other cousin, Andy Lee, a now-retired middleweight boxer, has won 35 matches during his boxing career.

Similarly, Hughie Fury has trained with his father, Peter Fury, a former professional boxer, since he was five. He had his first amateur fight at the age of 11 and went on to participate in 45 contests before turning professional.

Hughie's ambition is to rank as high as his cousin and to be in the top 10 alongside Tyson. It's safe to assume that the Furys are a mighty family.
