Jim Courier Wife Susanna Lingman Knows A Thing Or Two About Tennis

Jim Courier married Susanna Lingman in 2010 at Pelican Hill, Newport Beach. Jim and Susanna have been together for thirteen years.

Susanna was born on November 3, 1983, in California, USA to her parents Eric Lingman and Belle Lingman. She has a brother David Lingman who is also a tennis player.

Her brother was a senior at Harvard University who previously played for the Crimson tennis team.

Susanna was a WTA tennis player who had won multiple high school and college competitions.

She won three team MVP awards and ranked number 35 in junior high school. She finished her schooling at Irvine, California's Woodbridge High School, and earned her Harvard degree.

Lingman won the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award and spent two years on the first-team all-Ivy roster in singles and doubles.

According to USAToday, he followed tennis not just because Susanna played it but because he was also interested in watching.

They watched Serena Williams' impressive victory at the US Open 2013's opening night match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

According to her LinkedIn account, she currently works as a consultant at the Wasserman media group. She also worked as a manager at American Express for seven months.

Jim Courier has a son named Kellan Courier born in 2015.

In 2015 when news.com.au interviewed Jim, the tennis player was expecting his first child with Susanna. He expressed his excitement and happiness as he was about to become a father for the first time.

Jim stated that “We’re expecting a child any day now, I imagine my feelings are the same as any other father-to-be which is everything from excitement."

Susanna has always supported Jim in his game and attended his game. She used to take her mother and father to the tennis match.

At the time of Susanna's pregnancy, the Australian Open was started. She could not attend the Australian Open in 2015 due to her pregnancy. 

Kellan Courier is the son of the tennis player Jim Courier and Susanna Lingman. Kellan was born in 2015.

As of 2023, he is eight years old and pursuing his high school. The tennis player has kept his son away from the limelight.

Kellan is concentrating on his studies and spending time with his parents. He is not active on social media as he is too young to handle it.

Jim Courier grew up in Dade City, Florida with his family. He spent his childhood playing tennis and other sports.

Jim trained with Hopman for two years before winning the 14-and-under Orange Bowl, the junior tennis equivalent of the World Series.

With the help of his mom and dad, he has become a well-known tennis player. He improved his abilities and won the Orange Bowl in 1987 at 16 under Bollettieri's guidance.

He also won the junior doubles championship at the French Open in 1987.
