Connor Bedard parents are Tom Bedard and Melaine Bedard. Connor was born on 17 July 2005 and grew up in North Vancouver.

2023 NHL Draft first overall pick Bedard is an ice hockey player formerly for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League. He was the first WHL player selected by the Regina Pats in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Connor played in the 2021 IIHF World U18 Championships in Frisco, Texas as a Canadian men's national under-18 ice hockey team member.

He won a gold medal, tied for second place in the competition, and was named to the media all-star team. He was the seventh 16-year-old player chosen for the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2021 by Team Canada.

Bedard was selected to play for Canada in the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships. He broke former teammate Shane Wright's record for Team Canada at the U18 Championships.

Connor is selected to play for Team Canada at the 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

Connor Bedard parents Tom and Melaine Bedard have a home in North Vancouver. Tom and Melaine raised two children.

Connor Bedard was born on 17 July 2005 in North Vancouver in British Columbia Canada.

According to Leaderpost, Tom stated that "Connor always had a ball and a hockey stick." They went to Hawaii, and Bedard take along his inline skates and his hockey stick.

His Father Tom Bedard Woked In Forest Industry

Tom Bedard worked in the forest industry his entire adult life. Tom used to travel 8 hours per day.

He worked hard and made many sacrifices for Connor and Madisen to pursue their love of sports. Conner's father used to go to a difficult job at three in the morning and come back to drive him to practice.

Tom has always supported and motivated his children in their careers.

Melanie Bedard Is A Supportive Mother

Melanie Bedard lives with Connor in a south Regin townhouse. Melanie handles the home and hosts international students at the family house. 

She deals with all the stress of everything in her life. Her husband Tom said that Melaine is very hard-working. 

When Conner and Madisen were set to take a flight to Sweden in the middle of the Pandemic, CBC reported that Melaine couldn't sleep. She recalled getting up and thinking, "I don't think I can do this." 

Melanie stated that Conner used to take the stick in the kitchen and play for an hour.

Connor Bedard Sister

Madisen Bedard is the older sister of Conner Bedard. Madisen is a kinesiology student at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C.

She is a gymnast, and Conner learned skating from her. Conner mentioned that Madisen is his biggest role model because of everything she does and how effectively she manages things.

She and her brother share a close relationship. She helps Connor with many things and tutors him in school.

When his first WHL season was delayed due to COVID-19, Madisen joined him in the fall of 2020 while he was playing hockey in Sweden.

She helps her younger brother in responding to massive amounts of fan mail.

Inside Connor Bedard Family

Connor grew up in North Vancouver with his family. He spent his childhood skating with his sister.

At age three, he used to have a ball and a hockey stick. He spent hours stickhandling in his open kitchen, breaking the floorboards.

His grandfather Garth Bedard passed in a car accident close to Sicamous, British Columbia. Connor was stuck in Regina. He talked to his grandmother Lynn the day before his final game with the Pats and told her, "Grandma, it's OK, I'm going to score for grandpa."

Connor scored both goals for Regina, including the game-winning goal in overtime. Bedard talked about his family and said that his mom and dad have made many sacrifices for him.
