Andre Rison wife Lisa Lopez Rison married on September 2, 2012 in Michigan. Andre first met her in 2009 during an event in Scottsdale.

On Valentine's Day in 2019, Andre posted a message on his page, praising Lisa and sharing that he knew he wanted to marry her from the moment he met her. He also acknowledged that they have been through a lot, but their relationship is still strong.

Interestingly, Andre shared the first-ever picture of his partner in February 2019 while attending Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta.

Andre Previously Dated Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes

Andre dated late singer and rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in 1993. Shortly after, the two started living together in Rison's luxurious two-story home. 

However, their relationship was reportedly violent, and Lopes accused Rison on September 2, 1993.

In June 1994, after another fight, Lopes, who had struggled with alcohol since she was 15, burned numerous pairs of shoes and teddy bears that Rison had bought for her in a fiberglass bathtub, which quickly melted and caused a fire that burned down Rison's house.

Lopes was detained with first-degree arson, and sentenced to five years of probation and a $10,000 fine. 

Despite this incident, Rison and Lopes continued dating on and off for seven years but later parted ways in 2001. A year later, she passed away in a car accident in April 2002. 

In addition, the 56-year-old former NFL player has been associated with several women with whom he has children. His first spouse, whom he divorced in 1990, is believed to be named Tonja, and they have two children together.

Andre Rison is a father to nine children, born from his four different relationships.

He has four daughters with his current partner, Lisa, whose names are Alesandra Rison, Catalina Rison, Amanda Rison, and Tanny Rison.

On September 6, 2022, Lisa shared a post that featured a picture of all three daughters posing for the camera, dressed for school. 

As per the post, their eldest daughter, Alesandra is a middle schooler, their second daughter, Amanda, is a 5th grader, their third daughter Catalina is a 4th grader, and the youngest, Rison, is a 1st grader. 

Nonetheless, in an Instagram post, Andre referred to her as the youngest of his nine children while celebrating the youngest Rison's birthday.

According to nndb.com, Andre has two children with his ex-wife Tonja and two with his girlfriend. He also has a son named Hunter Rison, born to his former partner Racquel Blanks.

In addition, Andre has a son with his ex-partner, Raycoa, who goes by the name KingOfFollies on Instagram. On his social media account, he has shared several pictures of his father.

Hunter Rison

Hunter Rison is the son of former NFL player Rison and Racquel Blanks. He was born on September 3, 1998. He plays as a wide receiver at Grand Valley State University. 

He attended Skyline High School, where he played under head coach Andrew Sorgatz for two years, including his senior season. 

During his junior year, he had four 100-yard receiving games, including a standout performance of 12 catches for 339 yards and two touchdowns against Temperance Bedford.

Before moving to Ann Arbor, he played at Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona, where he had 31 catches for 376 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore in 2014.

In 2017, Hunter played as a true freshman for Michigan State under head coach Mark Dantonio. The 5 feet 11 inches tall often describes his father as "the Antonio Brown of his time." 

Andre appreciates his son's mental approach to the game, stating that Hunter works hard to perfect everything he does on the field and understands the position he's been put in.

Andre Rison Family Growing Up

Andre family includes his parents, mom Mert and three other siblings. He spent his childhood in Flint, Michigan, in the United States. 

Rison's sister, Raquel Brown, has shared pictures of their reunions and celebrations during the holiday or when attending games. 

Brown's Facebook page also includes portraits of Rison's parents and siblings. In addition, she has posted about her nephew Hunter Rison, cheering him on during his match while he played for Michigan State in 2017.

However, there is also a sad post about the passing of her daughter, Mauri Callahan Brown.

Apart from this, Andre has been into football since his early childhood. He excelled as a player in both high school and college. He stood out at Flint Northwestern High School and continued to impress at Michigan State University.

During his senior year at Michigan State, Rison caught 30 passes for 709 yards and scored five touchdowns. He played a crucial role on the 1987 Michigan State team that went on to win the Rose Bowl on January 1, 1988.

Where Is Andre Rison Now?

Andre Rison now lives in Michigan with Lisa and their four daughters. After retiring from football, Rison began a new career path as a football coach.

In 2014, he worked as the offensive coordinator for Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, although, unfortunately, his team went winless that season with an 0-9 record.

Moreover, Rison remains passionate about football and is proud of his children and grandchildren, who follow in his footsteps.

In recognition of his achievements in football, Rison was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in Detroit in 2017, along with seven other new inductees. 

Before this, he served as an assistant coach for Beecher High School's football team in Flint, Michigan, from 2006 to 2008, working under his former teammate at Michigan State, Courtney Hawkins.

In March 2010, Rison took on the role of head coach for Flint Northwestern High School's football team, continuing to share his love of sports and coaching with the next generation.
