WWE Hall of Fame list by year includes The Undertaker in 2022, Kane and The Great Khali 2021, John Layfield 2020, and Honky Tonk Man 2019.

The WWE Hall of Fame honors professional wrestlers who have immensely contributed to the entertainment industry for a large number of years. There are sections for individuals, groups, celebrities, and Warrior Award winners in the Hall of Fame. 

A total of 239 people have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, including 127 individuals, 46 legacy inductees, 18 groups, 13 celebrities, and 9 Warrior Award recipients.

The announcement of each year's inductees into the esteemed group has grown to be an eagerly awaited event for fans. The WWE Hall of Fame was founded by the World Wrestling Federation in 1993. 

The 'Legacy' wing of the Hall of Fame was a new category that WWR revealed in 2016. It is a celebration of the long history of pro wrestling from renowned wrestlers to professional managers.

The Undertaker - 2022

Widely regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker joined the Hall of Fame WWE list in 2022.

Undertaker started his wrestling career in 1987. Fans eagerly awaited The Undertaker's speech and reflected on his long and successful career as he was officially inducted.

Mark Calaway was given the chance to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014, but he turned down the invitation because he felt the moment wasn't right. 

The Undertaker was formally into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1, 2022, at the American Airlines Center. During induction, he spoke for 137 minutes, during which the audience gave him an emotional 10-minute standing ovation. 

On January 23, 2023, The Undertaker appeared as part of WWE Raw is XXX, a special episode of Monday Night Raw's 30th anniversary.

Kane - 2021

Glenn Jacobs aka Kane was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. Kane is the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. 

His induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2021 was officially announced on March 24 and it was completed on April 1.

Also, in honor of The Undertaker leading the event for the 2022 Hall of Fame, Kane made a valuable appearance and gave a speech as well.

Kane started his career in professional wrestling in 1992 on the independent circuit, competing for organizations like Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the United States Wrestling Association before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1995.

In the WWE, Kane has won the world title three times and the tag team championship twelve times. He is the third person to accomplish the WWE Grand Slam and a two-time Intercontinental Champion as well as a Money in the Bank winner.

The Great Khali - 2021

A retired Indian professional wrestler Dalip Singh Rana aka The Great Khali joined the list of WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers alongside Kane in 2021.

Khali became the first World Heavyweight Champion born in India. Before beginning his professional wrestling career, he worked as an assistant sub-inspector for the Punjab Police. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2000.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) signed Khali to a contract on January 2, 2006, making him the first professional wrestler from India.

In 2007, the Great Khali won his first title after defeating Batista to become the World Heavyweight Champion. The Khali Chop, the Great Khali's signature move, involved him delivering a strong chop to his opponent's head. 

John Layfield - 2020

John Layfield, known by his ring name Bradshaw was a member of the Class of 2020 who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

John is currently under contract with WWE, where he serves as an ambassador. Layfield gained popularity in the WWE during its Attitude Era while combining with Ron Simmons to win three WWF Tag Team Championships as a member of the Acolytes Protection Agency.

Bradshaw won the WWE Championship, in 2005 and held it for 280 days. He won the Intercontinental Championship a month before retiring from pro wrestling at WrestleMania 25 in 2009, becoming the 10th Grand Slam Champion and 20th Triple Crown Champion in WWE history.

Layfield started working as a television commentator for WWE shows after he retired. He currently works as a financial commentator and often appears on Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel.

The Honky Tonk Man - 2019

Roy Wayne Farris known by the ring name The Honky Tonk Man was admitted into the Hall of Fame during the 2016 induction event.

Honky started his professional wrestling career in 1977. He previously rejected an offer from WWE to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.

His former manager Jimmy Hart awarded him with the induction. At the beginning of his career with the WWF, the Honky Ton Man set a record by holding the WWF Intercontinental Championship for 454 days before losing it to The Ultimate Warrior at the 1988 SummerSlam. 

Honky competed in Impact Pro Wrestling in New Zealand on June 5, 2016, at the Armageddon Expo in Wellington. He defeated the team of IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champions Curt Chaos, Taylor Adams, and Mr. Burns by working with Brook Duncan and Britenay.

Goldberg - 2018

Professional wrestler Goldberg was honored by the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018. Goldberg is recognized as one of the most competitive wrestlers. 

As the first wrestler to win a global championship after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Goldberg faced The Fiend to win the Universal Championship for the second time in 2018.

Goldberg is widely credited with creating spear signature skills, which he popularized and became known for being the greatest at performing.

He is also the only wrestler to have won the WWE Universal Championship, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Goldberg played American football professionally before turning to professional wrestling. He started working as a commentator for the mixed martial arts group Elite Xtreme Combat in 2004 after his retirement from wrestling.

Kurt Angle - 2017

Kurt Angle joined the list of WWE Hall of Famers in 2017. Kurt is a 13-time world champion overall and has won 21 professional wrestling titles.

During the Hall of Fame induction his longtime opponent John Cena was inducted, WWE announced on March 16, 2017. The American Hero is best recognized for his involvement with both Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and the WWE.

Angle earned a lot of recognition during his time at the Clarion University of Pennsylvania, including two-time heavyweight NCAA Division I wrestling champion.

Kurt Angle was also ranked among the top 15 college wrestlers of all time and the greatest shot wrestler in history by USA Wrestling in 2006.

King Kurt has won a number of titles, including the World Heavyweight Championship, the WCW Championship, and the WWE Championship. Additionally, he is the fifth Grand Slam winner and the tenth Triple Crown champion overall.

Sting - 2016

Steve Borden known by his ring name Sting was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016. Sting has won 15 world titles during his wrestling career. 

Borden is well-known for his time as the public face of two crucial American professional wrestling firms, the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW), which was acquired by the World Wrestling Federation, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling(TNA).

Sting formerly competed for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF), and Continental Wrestling Association.

He became the first wrestler in history to have won the NWA, WCW, and TNA World Championships in the same career. Borden was also the first person to be admitted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2012.

Sting and John Cena both had the honor of being selected "Most Popular Wrestler of the Year" by Pro Wrestling Illustrated readers four times.

Larry Zbyszko - 2015

Lawrence Whistler aka Larry Zbyszko was inducted in the Hall of Fame by Bruno Sammartino in 2015. Larry has twice won the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. 

He trained under Sammartino after leaving his NCAA wrestling career at Penn State University. Zbyszko was one of the stars of the 1976 Latin America Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Championship which was held in Guatemala City and promoted by Jose Azzari.

Zbyszko joined the American Wrestling Association in March 1984 based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After receiving the newly established AWA America's Championship in 1985, he got into a conflict with Sgt. Slaughter. 

However, his last match took place at Pro Wrestling Syndicate in Rahway, New Jersey on April 25, 2015, when he teamed with CPA and lost to Beefcake Charlie and Damian Gibbs.

Jake Roberts - 2014

Jake Roberts was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5, 2014. Jake was regarded as one of the prominent personalities in pro wrestling. 

Roberts began his wrestling career in 1974 in Louisiana where he also worked as a referee. He became well-known in the Mid-South Wrestling, Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, and Georgia Championship Wrestling.

On March 8, 1986, in the Boston Garden, Jake made his World Wrestling Federation debut by defeating Jose Luis Rivera. In 1992, Roberts joined his father, Grizzly Smith, at World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Jake had matches for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2006 to 2008 and for Extreme Championship Wrestling during the summer of 1997.

The 69-year-old Jake Roberts is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) where he performs as a manager to fellow wrestler Lance Archer.
