Taro Daniel was born to parents Paul Daniel and Yasue Daniel on 27 January 1993. Taro grew up with a younger sister.

Daniel is a Japanese-American tennis player who won one ATP tour singles title at the 2018 Istanbul Open. He also won seven ATP Challenger Tour singles championships and achieved career-high singles ranking at No. 64.

He received his first nomination for the Japan Davis Cup team at the 2014 Davis Cup World Group quarterfinal matchup against the Czech Republic.

Taro won the first Davis Cup match of his career at the 2015 Davis Cup World Group Play-offs against Colombia by defeating Alejandro Falla in the final tie.

In the 2022 Australian Open qualifying, he made a Grand Slam third round for the first time in his career after defeating Andy Murray and Tomas Barrios. Taro made it to the quarterfinals Serbia Open in Belgrade.

In the post, he has written "My mother passed away on October 31st, 2022. Me, my sister, my dad was incredibly fortunate to have been by her side the whole time during these last days. She waited for us to be all together for one last time. I am proud of you mama and hope you are of us too. Love you with everything."

Yasue loved natural beauty, and she was a pet lover. On her Instagram account, she posted about natural beauty and pets. 

Her last Instagram post was of Halloween on October 15, 2022, with the caption "Front door Halloween decoration." 

Paul Daniel Is A Supportive Father

Paul has been very supportive throughout his son's career. 

He encouraged his son to continue playing tennis, and Taro tried hard to play. In the beginning, he was not good at tennis, but he was disciplined, and Taro improve two or three years later.

Taro Daniel was born in New York, USA. When he was 14 years old, the family moved to Spain.

Taro started playing tennis at the age of seven. He attended his elementary school years in Saitama, Japan.

Daniel's sister Kana is also a tennis player with whom he shares a strong bond. They both speak English, Japanese and Spanish languages.

Kana Daniel is the younger sister of Taro. Kana played tennis at the University of Pennsylvania.

She was ranked top 20 in Spain in 2011-12 and made the semifinals of two European pro circuit tournaments. She was ranked No. 1 in Spain in the under-12 and under-14 categories and was qualified for the international Nike Junior Tour in 2007 and 2009.

Kana qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship for the first time since 2011 and made it to the second round.

She competed at No. 1 throughout the spring in both singles and doubles and finished the year with a 20-12 singles record overall, including a 3-4 record in the Ivy League.
