Rush Propst second wife is Stefnie Duck and they married in 2008. Propst met her when she was working as an assistant for a local attorney.

Propst has been an athletic director and associate football coach at Coosa Christian School in Alabama. 

Rush has coached many high schools, and he got attention after his Hoover team's 2005 and 2006 seasons were featured in the MTV series Two-A-Days.

In his young days, he used to play football and basketball. He was a two-year starter on the basketball team and played high school football for coach Ragan Clark. 

Started his coaching career in 1977 as a student assistant. He was hired by Hoover in 1999. In 2007, Propst guided Hoover to a 6-6 record during his final season as a head coach in Alabama.

During his time at Hoover he was ranked in the top 25 polls ranked in 16th in the nation in 2003 and fourth in 2004. Named Colquitt County head coach, he led the team to the GHSA Class 5A State Championship Game.

AL.com suspects Propst could get a lucrative offer from Pell City High School as their newest football coach.

Stefnie Duck Has Worked In A Law Firm

Stefnie Duck is a former assistant to a law firm in Alabama. Stefnie now resides in Alabama with Rush and her kids. 

She is a supportive partner who has always hoped for Rush's well-being since meeting him. When she and Rush met, Stefnie didn't know that Propst was committed to another girl, and then the pair went on their separate way.

Over the five years, they only spoke twice once after Rush's father's passing from cancer and once following Tammy's accident.

Duck used to get informed about Rush through the newspaper. On the other hand, Propst used to get information about Stefnie through their mutual friend.

When the Hoover job opened, Rush and Stefnie met at a Birmingham Bennigan. They once again got connected and have been living together since. 

Stefnie supports and cheers up her husband and children on their game. When Rush won his 300th career, she was there to root for him. 

On February 2, 2023, when her son signed in for the University of Georgia, she attended the event. She has shared her family picture on her Facebook account. 

Rush Propst Previously Married Tammy Cox

Rush Propst married Tammy Cox in 1986 and they had three children. Rush and Tammy met in their high school.

The couple split away after 22 years of marriage in 2008. Tammy lives in Hoover and works for the school system. 

She had an accident in 1994 and spent three months in the hospital due to multiple skull fractures and serious frontal cortex brain damage. Rush used to make time for his game and visit his wife in the hospital.

Tammy moved to her parent's home and spent most of her time at a rehabilitation center where she had to relearn how to walk, speak, and eat. 

Her health improved and she asked Rush to show his love for their marriage by choosing their family over football. Rush, on the other hand, finds it difficult to make such a choice.

Propst accepted the job at Hoover and frustrated Tammy left for the day with her three kids. As he was in a secret relationship with Stefnie, Tammy noticed something was wrong. 

Per ESPN, In 2007, a news report suggested Rush Propst had a child from an extramarital affair.

When Tammy heard the news she questioned Propst whether the reports were accurate, then Prospt admitted the truth. He told the truth to his kids and explained everything.

She tried to be together with her husband even after learning of his affair and having three children. Tammy didn't file for divorce until Rush told her he truly loved Stefnie.

Rush Propst Children

Rush Propst has seven kids in the family. Three daughters are Leanne, Taylor and Mary Propst and five sons Jacob, Bryan, Thomas and John David Propst. 

Three (Leanne, Jacob and Bryan) are from his first marriage and four (Taylor, Mary, Thomas and John) are from his second marriage. 

When Leanne was in the seventh grade, she struggled to pay attention when she heard the news of his father's extramarital relationship. However, like her mother, she has forgiven her dad. 

Leanne Propst

Leanne is Apparel and Licensing Coordinator at Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. She has been working for Yamaha Motor since October 2020. Leanne completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Troy University.

According to her LinkedIn account, she did Event Management Intern and Marketing and Promotion Intern at Troy University. She then worked at The Aspire Group as a sales associate for three months. 

Leanne served as an account coordinator at Aim marketing Solutions for one year. After working as an account coordinator, she was a program manager at Fusion Staffing from September 2019 to October 2020. 

Talking about her personal life, she married Brandy Buchan on May 22, 2021, at Oakleaf Cottage. 

Jacob Propst

Jacob studied at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He resides in Valdosta, Georgia with his spouse Caitlin Carr Propst and a daughter.

Thomas Is A Football Player

Thomas signed his contract with Piedmont High School on February 2, 2023. 

He suffered an injury while a sophomore at Valdosta, and he was still recovering during his junior year at Piedmont.

Rush grew up with his family in Ohatchee, Alabama. Propst father passed away of cancer in 1994 and after ten years his mother passed away.
