Randy Arozarena was born to parents Jesus Arozarena and Sandra Arozarena. Randy is representing team Mexico in the WBC 2023.

Randy is a professional baseball outfielder who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays of MLB. He was also a soccer player before. 

With the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Springfield Cardinals, he played baseball professionally for the first time in a complete season in 2017.

Arozarena was 19 when he was the starting second baseman for Pinar del Río in the Cuban National Series. 

After being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on January 9, 2020, Arozarena played 23 games at bat. 281 with 11 RBIs and seven home homers.

Arozarena was the first rookie position player to win the ALCS MVP award in the 2020 season. He announced his plan to pitch for Mexico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Randy Arozarena Childhood

Randy Arozarena was born on February 28, 1995, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Randy spent his childhood with his two brothers Raiko and Ronny. 

Growing up he has good memories of playing soccer with his brothers, and friends and also dancing in the streets.

Arozarena's first passion was soccer, which he still finds to be one of his favorite sports. He didn't begin playing baseball until his soccer coach took him to practice. 

He then switched from his soccer cleats to baseball spikes once he got his hands on a bat. Randy began to show bat speed as soon as he switched to baseball, and at the age of 18, he got a contract with Pinar del Ro.

Arozarena's mom and dad have always supported and motivated him throughout his career, and they have never missed Randy's game. 

Randy's dad Jesus passed away in 2014 when he attended one of his playoff games. Jesus got an allergic reaction after eating a seafood dish.

Arozarena stated that losing his dad at a such young age was the hardest thing he had to go through and losing him at the baseball field has really struck him.  

He decided to leave Cuba, go to Mexico for his career, and support his family. In Mexico, he played for various Mexican teams. 

His mom Sandra also moved to Mexico and saw her son's achievements. She claimed, ' My sons in their careers have had a lot of discipline since they were children.'

Randy Arozarena Brother

Randy Arozarena has two brothers, Raiko Arozarena and Ronny Arozarena. Raiko is a footballer and Ronny is a baseball-free agent. 

They live apart but also share a strong bond and see each other from time to time. Raiko watched Randy's Major League Baseball game live in 2021.

Raiko Is Goalkeeper

Raiko is a football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Tampa Bay Rowders. 

He began his football career with the local club Pinar Del Rio and then joined USL Championship.

Raiko was transferred to USL Division One's Forward Madison FC, and after the end of the 2022 USL League One season, he returned to Tampa Bay.

Randy Arozarena wife Cenelia Pinedo Blanco married on November 7, 2020, at Kantoyna Ranch near Merida. Randy met her in 2018.
