Congratulations are in order as the OI 29er Phil Bourque has a new baby with his lovely wife Ali. Phil Bourque revealed the news via his Twitter handle.
He added that both mother and baby are doing well and resting comfortably. The couple also has a toddler who was born in November 2020.
Phil is a former ice hockey player who played in the NHL and IHL. He was a part of the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, and Ottawa Senators.
The two-time Stanley Cup Champion left the NHL after the 1995-96 season. He then played with the IHL's Chicago Wolves. He played three seasons in Germany before retiring after the 1999-2000 season.
Bourque is now the radio analyst and color commentator for the Pittsburgh Penguins. In the pre-game broadcast "Two Minutes with the Ol' Two-Niner," he interviews players, coaches and ice hockey personalities.
