NHL Conference Finals 2023 will start on May 19 Thursday 8 Pm ET and end on May 31 Wednesday with each conference game on alternate days.

The NHL Conference Finals are the penultimate round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, consisting of two best-of-seven series between the remaining four teams, one from the Eastern Conference and another from the Western Conference.

During the Conference Finals, the teams will play in a round-robin format, and the first team to win four matches will advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Eastern and Western Conference Finals winners will then vie against each other in the championship series, which is also a best-of-seven format

The NHL Conference Finals is an exciting and highly anticipated part of the Stanley Cup playoffs, as fans eagerly await to see which teams will progress to the final stage and ultimately vie for the prestigious Stanley Cup.

When Will NHL Conference Finals Start?

The 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs will commence on May 18 as Panthers travel to Hurricanes home ice at 8 pm eastern time. 

Likewise, Dallas Stars will travel to Vegas for their clash on May 19 at 8:30 pm eastern time.

Three of the four teams are already set, with the Hurricanes set to face the Panthers in the East and the Golden Knights and Dallas Stars in the West.

The second round has concluded as Florida Panthers eliminated the Toronto Maple Leafs in an overtime thriller on Friday night.

In the 2022-23 NHL season, the Hurricanes and Panthers played three games against each other. The Hurricanes won two out of three meetings, and the final goal breakdown was 13-7 in favor of the Hurricanes.

Previously, the 2022 NHL Conference Finals featured the New York Rangers facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference, with the Lightning winning the series 4-2.

In the Western Conference, the Colorado Avalanche played against the Edmonton Oilers, with the Avalanche winning the series 4-0. The Conference Finals began on May 31, 2022, with the Western Conference matchup between the Avalanche and Oilers.

The tickets for NHL Conference Finals can be purchased from Ticketmaster. Its the official ticket marketplace of the NHL, including premium seating and hospitality.

Starting from May 15th at 1 pm (PT), fans of the Vegas Golden Knights can purchase single-game tickets for their 2023 NHL Western Conference Final game against either the Dallas Stars.

A limited number of event suites and group tickets will also be available.

Qualified groups of 10 or more guests can receive savings off single-game ticket pricing in selected seating areas at T-Mobile Arena.

Where To Watch NHL Conference Finals on TV?

Fans of the NHL can catch the Conference Finals on various TV channels such as ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, and TBS.

Eastern conference finals will be broadcasted on TNT, CBC, TVAS and SN. The western conference broadcast team will be led by ESPN, ESPN+, CBC, TVAS and SN.

Rogers Media holds a 12-year contract in Canada and airs games across Sportsnet networks, FX, Citytv, and CBC under the Hockey Night in Canada brand. 

Sportsnet will also simulcast the U.S.-U.S. series during the first two rounds, while games are live streaming on Sportsnet Now and CBCSports.ca.

In the U.S., the ESPN family of networks and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports hold a seven-year agreement and air games across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, TBS, and TNT. 

Regional broadcasters of each U.S. team will produce local coverage of First Round games, except for Saturday primetime games on ABC.

Live streams for selected ESPN/ABC games are available on ESPN+, while authenticated streaming on ESPN and TNT/TBS's respective apps is available for pay-TV subscribers for other games.

ESPN/ABC has the first choice of which Conference Finals series to air, with TNT carrying the other series. The Florida Panthers will go head-to-head with the Hurricanes in the NHL Eastern Conference Finals airing on TNT.

Sports USA Radio Network held the American national radio rights to broadcast selected Stanley Cup playoff games, comprising the entirety of the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals, via NHL Radio.

This was part of a four-year agreement between the NHL and Sports USA to syndicate NHL games on U.S. national radio, and it marked the second year of this deal.
