Mike LaFleur met wife Lauren LaFleur at Mount Pleasant High School in Michigan. LaFleur married on 17 July 2010 in an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Similarly, the pair attended Elmhurst University, where both Mike and Lauren were engaged in athletics. At that time, Lauren was a women's volleyball team member, while Mike was a quarterback for the Bluejays in 2006 and 2007. 

They graduated from Elmhurst in 2009, and shortly after that, Mike began his coaching career as an offensive assistant for the Elmhurst Bluejays.

He has worked as an assistant coach with the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, and San Francisco 49ers, as well as the New York Jets offensive coordinator.

In general, he was fired as an offensive coordinator by the Jets on January 11, 2023, after the club failed to score a touchdown in the previous three games.

Mike LaFleur married Lauren L Ball at a chapel in Mt Pleasant Michigan. 

They have been together for 12 years since their grand wedding in 2010. 

Furthermore, they exchanged vows in front of their family and around 300 attendees who had come to their wedding to bestow their blessings on the newlyweds.

Following the ceremony, the couple accommodated their guests at the Bovee University Center at Central Michigan University. And later, the couple took a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.

Who Is Lauren LaFleur?

Lauren LaFleur graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2005. Lauren later enrolled at Elmhurst College with a marketing degree in 2009. 

Moreover, after graduation and working as an intern for a couple of months, she began working at the Fifth Third Bank Marketing Department.

LaFleur family hails from Michigan and he was raised in a sporting household. Mike and his older brother Matt were introduced to football by their father. 

Both siblings have a successful careers as coaches in the sports world, and the LaFleur family is frequently seen cheering on the team that their son coached for. 

Mike LaFleur Parents

Mike parents Denny and Kristi LaFleur were raised in a football family. Kristi was a cheerleader, while Denny played linebacker for Central Michigan.

Denny LaFleur played and coached at Central Michigan for decades, so football was always around in the LaFleur household. The Flushing native walked on as a running back in 1971 before being moved to nose guard and then linebacker.

According to his LinkedIn page, he has been a coach at Mt. Pleasant High School since 1998. On the other hand, when Kristi was growing up, her father, Robert Barringer, was the head football coach at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix.

Their passion for the game was passed down to their children, who were both great quarterbacks at Mt. Pleasant High School before going on to play in college.

The fact that both Matt and Mike followed in their footsteps and became coaches is enough to make both parents happy. 

Mike LaFleur Brother

Mike older brother Matt LaFleur is working as the head coach for the Green Bay Packers. The LaFleur brothers are seven years apart in age. 

He has coached quarterbacks for the Washington Redskins, Notre Dame, and the Atlanta Falcons. On January 8, 2019, LaFleur was appointed as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers.

Likewise, Matt and Mike coached against each other in the NFC Championship Game between top-seeded San Francisco and second-seeded Green Bay, which took place at 6:40 p.m. at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif, per The Morning Sun
