Matt Patricia underwent surgery in the offseason to treat a tendon issue in his lower left leg, reports Lions Wire.

He has been unable to put any weight on his leg or move about without the help of a machine due to Achilles tendon surgery. Patricia used a golf cart throughout practice to go around the field.
