Mark Jones wife Sara Jones is an attorney general from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mark is a Canadian sports commentator for ESPN Network.

He has taken up residence in Miami, Florida, savoring the delights of family life with his better half and three children, Sophia, Shea, and Glory Jones.

Because of his involvement in sports, all three of his young ones have pursued a career in it. His daughter Sophia Jones is so far the most successful of the trio, having been named a Florida Player of the Year in 2020.

ESPN's Jones stationed himself in Weston, rejoicing over his daughter's impressive recognition in March 2020. Sophie was a senior guard at Cypress Bay during that time.

Besides, Mark also played basketball during his college days at York University in Toronto. However, he ventured into media after graduating and, since 1986, has been active in broadcasting.

Mark Jones ESPN is married to his wife Sara Jones and has three children. Mark is originally from the capital of Ontario, Toronto.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University in his hometown in 1985.

Upon completing his academics, Jones joined The Sports Network in Toronto in 1986 and worked for four years before packing his bag and heading to the United States. 

In 1990, he moved to the US and began his stint at ESPN and ABC. While in the country, he met his future missis Sara. Shortly after, the two tied the knot and abided in Miami, Florida. 

Soon after, their home was filled with the joyous chorus of babies' cries and cheerful laughter. The pair have two daughters and a son. 

Who Is Sara Jones?

Sara Jones is a lawyer in Miami, Florida. Sara attended the Univerity of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.

Aside from her profession, she boasts an impressive resume for a former athlete. She excelled in track and field at the University of Wisconsin.

However, upon graduating from college, Sara shifted her focus away from athletics toward her burgeoning career and devoted herself entirely to pursuing her career as an attorney.

But it did not stop her from supporting and encouraging her younger ones to follow their passion for sports, culminating in a triumphant career. 

Mark Jones Children

Mark Jones shares a son named Shea Jones and two daughters with Sara. They raised a family of three in Miami, Florida. 

Shea is the oldest of the trio, followed by Glory and Sophia. Mark's offspring also share a love of sports. His firstborn, Shea, played basketball at Presbyterian and Jacksonville, while her daughter, Glory, played basketball at Loyola Marymount.

Sophia Jones

Sophia is a promising college basketball player at San Jose State University. She graduated from Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida in 2020.

Born Sophia Catherine, she is a native of Miami who is currently majoring in radio, television, and film. She comes from a family with a strong background in sports and media.

Sophia's inspiration comes from her father, who works for ESPN and covers many NBA games. She recognizes the importance of staying up-to-date with modern methods of mass communication and is excited about her new media class. 

With such a strong sports background, Sophia plans on working in the sports media and television field after graduation. Her family's involvement in sports and media has given her early exposure to the industry, and she is determined to follow in their footsteps. 

Besides, Sophia has always been passionate about basketball since 2nd grade, inspired by her siblings who also played the sport.

Playing Division 1 basketball in California has been Sophia's dream, and the 5 feet 8 inches tall athlete is excited to join the women's basketball team at San Jose.

Additionally,  Sophia is dating her boyfriend, Seneca Knight, an Illinois State Redbirds point guard. The pair celebrated their second anniversary in September 2022.

Shea Jones

Shea was born on April 25, 1994, and grew up with her siblings, Glory, and Sophia. He played high school basketball at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida.

Shea earned several accolades during high school, including being named to the 1st Team All-County, winning a district championship, and being a two-time All-Star. He also played for the Nike Team Florida during her high school years.

Despite his success in high school, Shea went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. He stands at 6 feet-1 (185cm) and weighs 175 lb (79kg).

Besides, the 28-year-old earned his degree in Kinesiology from Jacksonville University. Shea cites Lil B as her most admired person and Chris Paul, one of the shortest NBA players, as his favorite athlete.

When She is not playing basketball, he enjoys skateboarding and drawing.

Glory Jones

Mark's first daughter Glory Jones graduated from Loyola Marymount University. She earned a diploma in International Relations at LMU.

Glory embarked on her athletic pursuit from Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida, where she excelled in basketball.

Throughout high school, she earned all-conference honors as a freshman, sophomore, and senior. Glory's career highs included 32 points and 20 rebounds, and she was named team MVP in back-to-back seasons.

Additionally, Glory was named the MVP of the girls' varsity track and field team in 2015-16 and the back-to-back Cypress Bay Female Athlete of the Year in 2015 and 2016.

In 2017-18, she was named a BCAA Scholar-Athlete. Glory played club basketball for the Sweet Rebound from 2014-16 and for Florida Girls Basketball in the 2016-17 season.

Mark Jones Family Life

Mark Jones family have a background from Jamaica where his parents lived. 

His mother and father and their four-month-old son Paul, Mark's big brother, immigrated to the United States in the 50s.

Paul Jones is the elder brother of sporstcaste Mark. They share a similar profession and hobby.

The older Jones resides in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, where he serves as a broadcaster for Sportsnet 590. Paul completed his academics at York University, followed by the University of Western Ontario, where he studied Human Kinetics and Sports Psychology.

Besides, he also played basketball while at York University. Paul played for the college team for four seasons, guiding them to three provincial championship titles.

His brief basketball career was marked by several notable achievements, including two conference All-Star nods and the coveted Kitch McPherson Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of the Ontario championship game in 1981.

For more than two decades, Paul has been an integral part of the Raptors' broadcast team, having started his tenure as the team's color analyst on radio broadcasts during the team's first season in 1995

Later he transitioned to his current role as a radio play-by-play announcer on Fan 590, working alongside the esteemed color analyst Eric Smith. The duo formed a new afternoon talk show, "Smith & Jones" in June 2020 for Sportsnet 590.
