It is quite evident that Lacey placing primary priority on her offspring was a significant reason for taking early retirement from wrestling. In an interview, she opened up about it, saying, “My man and I wanted more kids, and that’s when I stopped working.”

Fifteen years down the road, she is relishing motherhood. Lacey has posted a handful of photos of the littles on social media sites and displayed a glimpse of their childhood.

Her real birth name is Lacey Dawn Adkisson, which she updated to Lacey later on her MySpace profile page. A call from WWE boss Vince McMahon followed immediately, thus beginning her wrestling career.

Kerry and Catherine tied the knot on June 18, 1983. They lived in a nine-year marital relationship and had two daughters together.

However, as time passed, things didn't quite work out for them, and the pair decided to part ways. They divorced on April 22, 1992.

Kerry, later took his own life with a bullet to the chest at his family farm in Denton County, Texas. Lacey was only 6 years old when her dad passed away.

Kerry was dealing with a lot of things, including addiction to painkillers, a foot amputation caused by a motorcycle crash, the pain of divorce, the loss of a brother, and a warrant issued for using substances.

In an interview in 2017, Dawn Adkisson talked about not holding any grudges for what his father did back then. She also emphasized that her father was much more than what was portrayed in the media, recalling his love and kindness.

Lacey is still very close to her mom and visits her repeatedly. Catherine recently appeared alongside Dawn in an interview with comedian Lauren, which streamed on the Hannibal TV channel on Youtube.

Kerry was a World Heavyweight Champion

Kerry was born as the fourth son of legendary Fritz Von Erich and Doris Adkisson on February 3, 1963, in New York. He is also known by his nicknames Cosmic Cowboy, The Modern Day Warrior, and The Texas Tornado.

All of his brothers, David, Kevin, Mike, and Chris were also wrestlers. With Kerry's family background growing up, it was only a matter of time before he followed his old man's path and carried forward the Von Erich legacy.

Kerry earned his nickname "The Modern day Warrrior" for his massive fame in Texas' World Class Championship Wrestling. Kerry initially had a feud with Ric Flair. However, his feud with the Fabulous Freebirds remains the talk of the town, as it lasted for five long years.

His story of continuing to wrestle with a foot injury caused by a motorcycle crash is eminent in the wrestling fraternity. Nonetheless, it wasn't the case back then, as the Texas Tornado maintained secrecy over the injury.

Lacey Von Erich Siblings

Lacey Von Erich has one older sister Hollie Brooke Adkisson. Hollie was born on September 19, 1984 in Texas.

Since there was only two years gap between the birth of Hollie and Lacey, they were more like friends than sisters. They grew up together and spent their childhood in Texas.

Hollie did not follow in their dad's footsteps and entered wrestling, unlike her younger sister. Brooke Adkisson prefers to keep her life personal and avoid the glittering world of media.

Nonetheless, she appeared alongside other close acquaintances and menage members during the induction of the Von Erich family into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

The two kinswomen are still very close and always look out for each other whenever required. Hollie also graced the weddings of her younger sister as her maid of honor.

Lacey Dawn Adkisson is not the only third-generation wrestler for the legendary family. Her sibling brothers Ross and Marshall are also carrying forward the legacy.
