Jordan Larson husband David Hunt is the head coach of the Pepperdine Waves volleyball team. Larson and Hunt tied the knot on 21 August 2021.

The Olympic trifecta winner first bagged silver at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and gold at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, all with Team USA.

Larson plays as an outside hitter and is called "Governor" when out in the court. She got that nickname from her fans in her home state Nebraska.

With her strong ongoing career with Vero Volley Milano, the 6 feet 2 inches tall athlete is enjoying her married life with a fellow volleyball expert.

They celebrated their engagement again in Malibu later. Their nuptials came a year later, and they have been living a happy life since then.

Another important part of their lives is their pet dog, whom they call their son. This volleyball couple has an English Bulldog named Spud.

However, Spud is also called by his many nicknames, Spudski, Spudders, Bubba, and Bubski. Spud was brought into the Larson-Hunt household in 2019.

Jordan was previously married to Luke Burbach. The 2014 volleyball world champion was together with Burbach for a long time though she has not shared insiders into her previous betrothal.

However, things didn't seem to go well for them in the long run as they decided to bring an end to their relationship. Luke has always resorted to private life over the years.

Meanwhile, Larson's current spouse is quite popular among the collegiate volleyball fandom due to his tenure as the Waves' head coach.

The couple celebrated the union later at Magnolia Hotel Omaha. The celebrations started on August 26 till August 27 with their loved ones whom they hosted at the hotel's restaurant, "The District." 

The marriage reception party was held in the evening at The Omar event venue in Nicholas Street. The newlyweds partied with their guests from 7 pm to 12 am.

After a blissful time, the two have returned to their work lives. David has continued his tenure as the eighth head coach of Pepperdine Waves.

Meanwhile, Jordan transferred from the Shanghai Bright Ubest Women's Volleyball Club to Vero Volley Monza right after the 2022 season. She mainly shares her professional life on social media, especially with her teammates.

Meanwhile, Jordan was one of the first Team USA volleyball players to get married that year. Megan Courtney tied the knot on August 27, followed by Annie Drews on September 5 and Kelsey Robinson on September 14.

Jordan Larson Parents

Jordan Larson was born to Kevin Larson and Kae Clough in Fremont on October 16, 1986. The family of three mostly lived in Nebraska.

The Larsons are well-known in Nebraska since Jordan grew up playing volleyball for Logan View High School and later at the University of Nebraska. Hence, the reason for her growing popularity there. 

While she has a home in Hooper, Jordan is often out of the home for her career. Regarding her initial home in Fremont, she lost her mom, Kae, to breast cancer in 2009, per USA Volleyball.

Meanwhile, she maintains a close bond with her loving father. Kevin was born on December 30, 1956, and the father-daughter duo usually celebrate the big day together. Jordan usually shares photos of these special days on her social media handles.

Larson grew up playing various sports, including soccer, basketball, and softball, under the care of her mom and dad. Meanwhile, Jordan had initially tried playing in different positions in volleyball.

Besides sports, she also learned how to farm from Kevin and made good use of the knowledge. Due to her healthy upbringing with Kevin and Kae, Jordan has continued her hobby of spending dun time with family and friends.

As she lost her mother earlier, Jordan lost her grandmother in September 2019 and her grandfather in November 2020. Even so, she has continued to remain strong and dedicated to her career.
