Jon Scheyer Mom Laury Scheyer and Family Life

Jon Scheyer parents are Jim Scheyer and Laury Scheyer. Coach Scheyer grew up in Northbrook, Illinois. 

Jon frequently shares posts on his Instagram page featuring portraits of his parents. Most of the pictures of his mother, Laury, are posted on Mother's Day. 

Each year on Mother's Day, Jon posts pictures of his wife and mum and wishes them to be fantastic mothers. He even expresses gratitude towards his mother for everything she has done for him.

On his father's 60th birthday, Jon shared a heartwarming image of Jim and Laury celebrating his belated birthday together. In the caption, Jon expressed gratitude towards his father and mother, saying he owed them a lot. He was glad that they could celebrate his birthday together in 2016.

Besides, Jim and Laury Scheyer had journeyed over 1,100 miles to Houston for the Sweet 16, 800 miles to Durham, and roughly 700 miles to Madison Square Garden to see Jon play at the Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Their family's favorite trip, which included his two older sisters, Brooke and Jennifer, along with brother-in-law Danny Resnick, who all made time to see Jon play, has been the nearly 20-mile trip to Chicago.

Jon's dad Jim Scheyer is the Chief Operating Officer at Ullo, a food and beverage company he has been a part of since its establishment in 2015.

He belongs to the Operations Executive Team within the C-Suite Department and holds a C-Level management position.

Jon graduated from Tulane University, obtaining his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He also has several years of experience working as a Chief Executive Officer in various companies. 

From 1996 to 2002, he served as the President of JBJ Partners and later became the President and Chief Operating Officer at Uniek. 

Additionally, he held the position of company officer at MCS Industries for seven years. He also worked as the Chief Executive Officer at View Enterprises and DCWW for two years each.

Mother Laury Scheyer

Laury Scheyer has been an Advisory Board member at Duke Eye Center Advisory Board. She has been working there since 2013 with expertise in eye care.

Laury's LinkedIn page indicates that she has held this position for nine years. This duration highlights her commitment to the organization and the cause that she supports. 

As an Advisory Board member, Laury works towards creating awareness and support for eye protection in sports. She also aims to provide a support system for individuals who have suffered from eye injuries.

Jon Scheyer married wife Marcelle Scheyer on May 7, 2017. They were engaged in 2015 when he was an assistant at Duke.

Jon posted a photo on his Instagram page in January 2014, which showed him and Marcelle attending their first Duke game together. Fans in the comment section were curious about their relationship status, wondering if Marcelle was Jon's girlfriend. 

After that, Marcelle was seen hanging out with the Scheyer family and watching the Motown musical show on May 10, 2014.

She was also present at a destination wedding Jon attended, and the couple even matched their outfits at the event. Marcelle wore a green dress that matched Jon's green tie.

After publicly dating for a year, Jon proposed to Marcelle and announced their engagement on his Instagram page on August 9, 2015. He shared a photo of the couple and the caption that they were officially engaged and that Marcelle said yes.

One week before their grand wedding, Scheyer made a post where he shared his excitement about the new beginning he was about, to begin with Marcelle. 

Although the exact details surrounding their wedding are still obscure, the images shared on his Instagram page highlight their grand celebration, which included lots of music, dancing, great food, and a fun time with their loved ones. 

Who Is Marcelle Scheyer?

Marcelle Provencial Scheyer is a family nurse practitioner in Durham, North Carolina. She is associated with Caldwell UNC Health Care, a Lenoir, North Carolina, medical center.

According to a post on the Carolina Women's Research and Wellness Center's website in August 2017, Marcelle works as an FNP-BC.

The center provides primary care, specialized services in gynecology, weight loss, laser hair removal, genetic screening, and clinical research specifically for women.

On the other hand, Marcelle and Jon are both 35 years old and were born in 1987. Marcelle was born on June 5th, while Jon was born on August 24th.

Scheyer has three young children named Noa Scheyer, Jett Scheyer and James Scheyer. 

Their eldest child, Noa, was born on January 29, 2018, and Jon announced her arrival on Instagram with a heartwarming photo of him and Marcelle holding their newborn daughter.

He expressed his happiness and delight, saying that the addition of their little girl forever changed their lives. 

Four months after Noa's birth, Jon shared a picture of his little daughter wearing her first pair of Nike shoes, which looked cute.

Since then, Jon has shared many pictures of Noa on his Instagram page, showcasing her growth and development and the special moments they have shared during holidays and other milestones.

On August 24, 2019, Jon and Marcelle became parents for the second time when they welcomed their son, Jett James Scheyer. 

It's worth noting that Jett and Jon share the same birthday, which makes their bond even more special. In one of Jon's Instagram posts, he can be seen celebrating their birthdays together and referring to Jett as his "birthday bud."

The family continued to grow when Marcelle gave birth to their third child, James Rusell Scheyer, on May 18, 2022, in Durham, North Carolina.

Jon Scheyer has two sisters Brooke Scheyer and Jennifer Scheyer. He is the youngest sibling in the family.

His older sister, Brooke has an impressive professional background with extensive experience in program development and community relations.

Per her LinkedIn page, she currently serves as the managing director and head of network programs at BDT & Company, LLC, a position she has held for almost six years since joining the firm in August 2016.

Before joining BDT & Company, Brooke worked as a director of programming at Chicago Ideas Week, where she collaborated with the extended community to create innovative, engaging, and thought-provoking programs that encourage curiosity and inspire action. 

She was also the founder and president of the non-profit Brightest Star Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

Brooke has also held different positions in community relations, such as community relations coordinator for the Chicago Blackhawks and community relations manager for the Chicago Bulls. She began her career in public relations as an intern at Weber Shandwick in 2006.

On the other hand, his other sister, Jennifer is married to her husband Danny Resnick and the couple is parents to two kids.
