Jeff Sheppard wife Stacey Reed Sheppard is a former basketball player for Kentucky Wildcats. Jeff and Stacey have been married for 24 years.

The former Atlanta Hawkins guard Sheppard met Stacey while enrolling at the University of Kentucky. Both were basketball team members then, and Jeff was named Most Outstanding Player in the 1998 NCAA tournament in San Antonio.

After his remarkable role in leading the Kentucky Wildcats to the NCAA championship in 1998, he pursued a career in professional basketball that spanned four years. However, he eventually retired from the sport to prioritize his family life in Laurel County.

Sheppard made a fleeting appearance in the National Basketball Association during the 1998–99 season, donning the Atlanta Hawks jersey, where he tallied an average of 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds across 18 games.

Later, he ventured into Italy's professional basketball league, where he played for various teams, including Benetton Treviso, culminating in an Italian Cup win, Cordivari Roseto, and Wurth Roma.

Stacey Reed Sheppard Is Close To The Game

Jeff and Stacey intimate wedding ceremony was held in May 1998. Jeff met Stacey at the University of Kentucky in the early 90s. 

Well, basketball is a passion that runs in the Sheppard family. Reddd's parents, Jeff and Stacey Sheppard, share a deep love for the sport, and basketball has been a big part of their lives since they met. 

Stacey was smitten with Jeff when she first saw him as a freshman, and Jeff admits that he initially ignored her. Nevertheless, they fell in love and got married, raising two kids along the way.

Despite their love for the game, the Sheppards' focus shifted from playing on the court to cheering from the stands. They enjoy watching both NBA and college basketball, and their home is usually buzzing with basketball games.

The devoted couple has been together for nearly 24 years, and they have shown unwavering support for each other's career pursuits.

Stacey's Facebook bio underscores her past employment with UK Athletics, having graduated from Laurel County High School before pursuing her studies at the University of Kentucky.

Jeff and Stacey are actively involved in numerous community activities. In addition, Sheppard is vice president for business development at Wazoo Sports, a regional television sports network focused on Kentucky sports.

In 2010, he contributed to a project to restore video and audio of Kentucky's 1958 national championship team. Sheppard is a financial advisor with expertise in providing financial guidance, retirement, estate, strategic planning, and risk management services.

Jeff Sheppard Both Children Are Athletes

Jeff Sheppard has two kids named Madison Sheppard and Reed Sheppard. His son Reed is a McDonald's All-American from Kentucky. 

Both of Sheppard's children have continued their family's basketball legacy. Their eldest child, Madison, played collegiate basketball and won multiple titles. 

Meanwhile, their youngest child, Reed, four years younger than Madison, is currently making a name for himself.

Reed grew up attending various Kentucky basketball games and SEC Tournaments and believes that having the opportunity to play for the University of Kentucky is a dream come true for many young boys.

Currently, he is ranked as the 17th-best player in the country for the class of 2023 after leading the state in scoring last season with an average of 30.1 points per game. 

He had received offers from various universities, including Virginia, Arizona State, Clemson, Louisville, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, College of Charleston, High Point, Stetson, Indiana, Massachusetts, and South Alabama. Still, he ultimately chose to play for John Calipari's Wildcats.

Madison Sheppard

Jeff Sheppard daughter Madison Sheppard was born on July 12, 2000. She played basketball at North Laurel High School in London, Ky., before being recruited to Campbellsville University (CU). 

During high school, she learned about teamwork, communication, and submitting to authority. She helped lead her Lady Jaguars team to a district championship in her senior year.

She was granted a full athletic and academic scholarship to attend CU. In the 2021-22 season, Sheppard received the Miss Tiger and Don Bishop Champion of Character awards from CU.

Additionally, she was named to the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character team and the Academic All Mid-South Conference team for her leadership role on the court. 

Furthermore, she was elected as the secretary of the student athletic advisory committee for the Mid-South Conference.

Sheppard graduated in May 2022 from Campbellsville University with a degree in chemistry and a minor in business administration.

Reed Sheppard

Jeff Sheppard son Reed Sheppard is a talented basketball player from London, Kentucky, who attended North Laurel High School. 

As a freshman, he became the school's starting shooting guard and averaged 20.6 points per game. 

Sheppard continued to excel and led the entire state of Kentucky in scoring during his sophomore year by averaging 30.1 points in 28 games played. 

He was then named the Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior after putting up impressive numbers: 25.5 points, 7.6 assists, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.4 steals per game.

Sheppard's impressive performance during his senior year earned him a spot in the 2023 McDonald's All-American Boys Game. 

He was also named Kentucky Mr. Basketball for his averages of 22.5 points, 8.5 assists, and 8.4 rebounds per game. In total, Sheppard scored 3,727 points, recorded 1,214 assists, and 1,050 rebounds during his high school career.

Sheppard is considered a highly-rated prospect for the class of 2023 and is currently ranked in the top 50. He received offers from Louisville and Virginia but ultimately decided to play college basketball for the University of Kentucky.

Sheppard's high school basketball career was filled with accomplishments and success. He played for McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia, and was named the Player of the Year in Georgia in 1993. 

Before that, he attended elementary school in Athens, Georgia, where he grew up with his family. His family later moved to Peachtree City when he was in the 7th grade, and he continued to pursue his passion for basketball.

Sheppard played on the varsity team as a freshman, leading it to its first winning season in school history with a record of 13-11. 

He continued to improve over the years, and in his junior year, he led the team to their first Region 4-AAAA Division II championship. The team finished with a 22-5, and Sheppard was named to the All-State team.

Jeff Sheppard Parents

Jeff's parents are Ralph Sheppard and Kyle Davis Sheppard. He grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia, with his younger sister, Jennifer Sheppard Little. 

Jeff's mother, Kyle, is a retired teacher who graduated from Georgia State University in 1974 and is an alumna of Gordon High School in Decatur, GA. Her Facebook profile features multiple images of her family, including her husband, children, and grandkids.

She has also shared pictures of Madison's senior year and her accomplishments as a basketball player. 

Jeff's sister, Jennifer Sheppard Little, has been an owner-operator at Heyday since August 2015. According to her Facebook bio, she studied furnishings and interiors at the University of Georgia and North Georgia College & State University.

Before that, she completed her schooling at Mcintosh High School. Jennifer is married to Ryan Little, and the couple is raising two children in Fort Collins, Colorado.
