FIFA has officially released five great soundtracks for World Cup 2022. And the opening ceremony will be one of the grandest ones.

World Cup is set for a defined time and has people from all over the world watching. To make the audience experience better and more emotional, that is why FIFA considers music an integral element of their World Cup and has invested millions of dollars every four years to produce the best quality soundtracks. 

This World Cup will feature five soundtracks: Better Together, Light the Sky, Qatar 2022 Theme, Arhbo, and the Arabic version of Arhbo. 

This year's World Cup has also featured great soundtracks by an amazingly diverse set of artists that everyone can easily access through YouTube and music sites like Spotify and iTunes. 

FIFA's Official Soundtrack 'Better Together'

Better Together, or Hayya Hayya, is one of the singles that got selected to be featured for this World Cup 2022. 

This song focuses on the unity that football brings among people of different cultures and backgrounds, from Europe to Asia and the Middle East to America. This is iterated by FIFA's Kay Madati, the Chief Commercial Officer. 

So, this song resonates with optimism by telling the listener that everything will be okay in the end, even if their life can have ups and downs. So, we better drown their future worries and tells the listeners to live life to their fullest. 

The song also displays a message of inspiration by telling the listeners that once we are united, we can navigate all our problems and do it in a fun manner. 

The soundtrack was released on 1st April 2022 on FIFA's official Youtube channel.

Artists

The artists of the 'Better Together' soundtrack feature Trinidad Cardona, Davido, and Aisha. 

Trinidad Cardona is an American singer with African heritage and is the official writer of the song. 

He is accompanied by Nigerian superstar Davido who helped in the song's composition and vocals. 

The vocals are also provided by Aisha, a local Qatari singer who has made many soundtracks for United Nations' ceremonies and other Qatar events. 

They collaborated to produce this song which is of the Rhythm and Blues genre. Also, their theme was helped by Nadir Khayat, known as RedOne, for production and other arrangements.

World Cup 2022 features a official soundtrack with an all-female lineupknown as Light the Sky. 

The song also gives the message of unity for the people. The lyrics 'Everybody' and 'Shout if you're with me' brings a rousing message of becoming united. Upon achieivng unity, everyone can get a sense of positivity and aim higher in their life. 

This fabulous soundtrack also tells us to spread love and open our heart to our fellow people. It is upto us fellow human beings to teach love and spend time with each other and build trust. 

Artists

The soundtrack features multiple female artists, including Nora Fatehi, Balqees, Rahma Raid and Manal. 

Nora Fatehi is a Canadian Muslim dancer, singer and actress who is prominent in the Bollywood industry. 

Blaquees is UAE singer and the daughter of Yemeni musician Ahmed Fathi. She is also a social worker who is involved inwith UN Women for advocating women rights. 

Rahma Riad is an Iraqi Singer, who is the daughter of Iraqi singer, Riad Ahmed. Her song, 'Waed Menni' features in top 10 rankings in Youtube for Arabic songs. 

Manal is a Moroccon singer who is known mostly for her urban pop in the Arabic music industry. 

FIFA's Official Soundtrack 'Arhbo'

Arhbo is another soundtrack published by FIFA for the upcoming World Cup. 

The word 'Arhbo' means 'welcome' for the Qatari people and is derived from the Arabic word 'Marhaba.' Now, we understand what this song wants to say to us. 

This soundtrack welcomes us to see this World Cup together and enjoy the games with our family and with people of various cultures. It also showcases the welcoming spirits of Qatar and what we fans and players can expect from this tournament. 

The song was released on August 20, 2022, by the FIFA Youtube channel. 

Artists

The artists of this soundtrack are superstars Ozuna and Gims. 

Ozuna is a Puerto Rican singer/rapper famous in the Latino community. His five albums have sold quite well and made it up to the top seven positions of the Billboard Latin Albums. 

Gims is a Congolese - French rapper and songwriter nominated for the prestigious NRJ Music Awards fourteen times and won once. He has also been nominated for MTV Europa Music Awards four times.

FIFA has presented its own Official Qatar 2022 theme as another soundtrack.  

This soundtrack is purely instrumental and is designed to be the World Cup's intro to every match. Its artist is Zachary Aaron Golden. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a social media presence. 

The Youtube video contains marvelous snapshots of the FIFA world cup's glorious history from the 1930s, the participating countries, and their glories. It also features Qatar's new stadium and the dream that Qatari children hope to gain from playing football. 

This theme was officially released on Youtube by the official FIFA channel on 14th October 2022.

FIFA's Official Soundtrack 'The World Is Yours to Take'

The soundtrack 'World is Yours to Take' is the official Budweiser Anthem of FIFA World Cup 2022. 

This song inspires the young generation to dream bigger and reach new heights of success. The song gives us a strong message that there's a sea of mixed energy radiating from around us, and everybody wants to become a superstar and rule worldwide. 

Despite all this, the soundtrack amplifies that no matter what or how many failures we get, we need to be determined and climb one step at a time. 

The soundtrack was released on 23rd September 2022 on Lil Baby's official Youtube channel. 

Artists

The song was written and sung by Lil Baby and has choruses from the son 'Everybody wants to Rule the World from an artist Tears by Tears. 

Lil Baby is a famous African American rapper who specializes in Hip-pop music. He has featured many iconic Western rappers like Kanye West, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. His most famous album, 'The Voice of the Heroes,' was featured in the top position of Billboard 200. 

For his music, he has won many prestigious awards like the Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap performance and other awards like MTV Video Music Award and Apple Music Awards 2020. 

FIFA World Cup's Anticipated Opening Ceremony

The 2022 FIFA World Cup's Opening Ceremony is anticipated by millions of audiences worldwide. 

The ceremony will start at a local time at 4 pm on 20 November, just one hour before the match between Qatar and Ecuador. The time zones will vary for countries like the USA, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. 

The Al Bayt stadium will open at 3 pm for all the 60,000 spectators. 

The ceremony is to be formally introduced by the President of Qatar and followed by the FIFA President. After the speeches, we can feast our eyes on entertainment, i.e., music performances by various artists. 

Scheduled Music Performances

There is no official list of every scheduled music performance. However, some artists have been confirmed.

The opening ceremony will officially feature the singers of 'Better Together,' i.e., Trinidad Cordana, Davido, and Aisha. 

Also, there will be a performance of 'Arhbo' by Ozuna and Gims. Their soundtrack contains about 31 million views as of November 13, more than any other soundtracks released for 2022. 

Nora Fatehi will also be in the opening ceremony, as she confirmed on Oct 20, 2022. she will likely perform for the official soundtrack, Light the Sky, with other collaborated artists. 

Lil Baby will also perform in the opening ceremony with Budweiser to sing his song,  'The World is Yours to Take.'

Other artists like Shakira, BTS, and Dua Lipa are also expected to join the opening ceremony, though there is no official confirmation.
