DeMarcus Lawrence and his wife Sasha Lawrence married on 11 May 2019. They met each in 2012 while Lawrence was at Boise State University.

Lawrence and his girlfriend Sasha were engaged in December 2016. She has two kids from her previous marriage before Tank.

The duo vowed together at the Omni Dallas Hotel in the presence of their elders, loved ones, and well-wishers.

Tyrone Lawrence is the proud dad of DeMarcus. He is an employee at a big Fiberglass plant.

Tyrone has worked in front of a 2,300-degree furnace for almost 35 years. He guided and supported his son's football career from the very beginning.

He used to ask his son to practice running several miles and insisted his son walk home on foot during high school to increase his stamina and make his body used to harsh conditions.

The father of a 30-year-old made sure that his youngest son learned about the daily necessity of life including how to change the tires, transmissions, and engines.

He is proud of his son's achievement and believes in the hard work that his youngest is putting into the game.

Lawrence mom Yvonne Lawrence is a cook near the Savannah River Plant.

Yvonne also shares the same philosophy of parenting with her husband, Tyrone. She believes one should learn how to survive to be a successful and better person.

She taught her youngest son to cook meals from an early age. 'Tank' used to cook a meal for his family, including his older sister and their children, when he was 12.

The former Boise State footballer grew up in a middle-class household. His brother used to play basketball in his younger days whereas his sister was already married when he was 12 years old.
