David Ojabo Parents Victor and Ngor Ojabo are from Nigeria. His father Ngor works for the oil company Shell and his Mother Ngor Ojabo is a lawyer.

The couple raised three kids and moved to Scotland when David was just 7 years old. David Ojabo was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, however, he spent most of his childhood in Aberdeen, Scotland with his family.

He was just 15 years of age when he moved to the united states. Initially, Ojabo was passionate about basketball, and to achieve his passion, he attended Blair Academy in 2015. However, he couldn't break into the lineup and made a decision during his junior year to switch to football.

One of the most significant American football players from Scotland, David had difficulty understanding American football at first. However, his high school head coach Jim Saylor guided him throughout his time at Blair Academy.

He quickly caught up and soon became a revelation. He had scholarships and offers from dozens of major universities and eventually chose Michigan. At Michigan, he had double-digit sacks and won a big house win against the Ohio State football team. 

The outside linebacker was drafted into the NFL as the 45th overall pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Ojabo had to move to a lot of cities throughout his work at Shell Nigeria. In August 2007 Victor moved to Aberdeen, United Kingdom with his family for the post of Senior Operations Advisor at Shell Global Solutions International where he worked for 2 years and 5 months.

After working for a few years in India, Victor returned to Nigeria to work as a Terminal Manager at Shell Petroleum Development Company for 2 years. He is currently with Shell Exploration & Production Companies in Nigeria as a Logistics Manager, as per his LinkedIn profile.
