Leigh chose St. John as the wedding destination because her late father loved the area. She and her mother had spread her father's ashes back then.
Leigh Ross hails from Ottawa Lake, Michigan, where she attended Whiteford High School. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 1992 and took charge of the Notre Dame Academy's softball team right after graduation.

Andrew was born on May 10, 1994, in Bloomington, Indiana. He attended Zionsville High School and played under coach Shaun Busick.
Dakich contained his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Michigan in 2017. He also played as a guard for the varsity team throughout his time there.
He then spent three seasons at Ohio State University for his Master's degree. He worked as a graduate and program assistant for the last two seasons.
Andrew joined Elon University in October 2020 as the Director of Basketball Operations. He made his first-ever CAA Tournament Championship game appearance with the Elon coaching staff.
