Professional golfer Lydia Ko and Hyundai Heir Chung Jun are engaged. The couple is set to get married in central Seoul on December 20, 2022.

Chung Jun is the youngest son of vice chairman Chung Tae of Hyundai Card. Lydia is a professional and No.1 ranked golfer.

She has achieved great success in her career, earning several LPGA Tour titles as one of the youngest players. Ko was listed as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people. 

She was also listed on the EspnW Impact25 list of 25 athletes and influencers who have had the most significant impact on women in sports.

The golfer had won the ANA Inspiration for her second consecutive major championship, becoming the youngest player to win. Ko serves as a player director on the LPGA Board.

Lydia Ko won the CME Group Tour Championship with its $2 million first-place prize, and Leona Maguire won $550,000 second-place prize money.

However, a guy will ask the question a week before the wedding. It's incredibly diverse because some people do it early, and others do a surprise proposal a few days before."

According to Yahoo, Lydia stated that getting married won't change her game schedule. Her family and partner have been incredibly supportive, and she is grateful to them.
