Braden Galloway Brother Brevin Galloway Ties The Family To Clemson

Braden Galloway parents are Donna Carr and Derrick Galloway. Braden was born as the youngest son of the family.

Their athletic careers motivated the Clemson Tigers alum to pursue sports as his primary goal. The two continue to work as school sports coaches while supporting Braden for his hard work.

Donna Carr

Braden Galloway mom Donna Carr was named women's basketball head coach at Davis & Elkins College in Elkis, West Virginia, in October 2022.

She is also a former athlete who played as a small forward for the Lady Gamecocks at the University of South Carolina.

She was also an impressive three-year starter and letter-winner at South Carolina. Carr later completed her career at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Donna graduated with honors in Sociology and also got her athletic honors as Conference and Tournament MVP. She had led the Lady Indians to the Conference Championship and also an Elite 8 Division II appearance. 

After graduation, the future coach played internationally for a Finnish team in Jyvaskyla and Helsinki. However, she took on coaching as her calling and has spent over twelve years in the field.

She led the Wharton High School girls' basketball team and many others in the Tampa Bay area. The coach spent one season at Saint Leo University before joining Hillsborough Community College and later the Elkis team.

Derrick Galloway

Braden Galloway dad Derrick is the head varsity basketball coach at Palmetto High School. He graduated from the same school as a well-known sharpshooter back in the day.

He later earned a college scholarship to Lander University as an athlete. He was part of the varsity team from 1985 to 1989 and even bagged the MVP and All-District Player titles in 1987.

The future coach graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness in 1989. He previously worked as a Buyout Specialist at Ryerson from 2000 to 2011. 

As of August 2012, he has dedicated his time to Palmetto HS and is considered to be one of the sought-after coaches in South Carolina. He was named the head coach in May 2022, a decade later joining the team. 

Derrick is active on Facebook, mainly sharing a sneak peek behind his coaching career.

Braden has an elder brother Brevin who is three years older than him. The Galloway siblings grew up in Anderson, Indiana.

Brevin was a three-star high school recruits from Seneca High School in 2016. He was also a No.4 athlete in South Carolina, making him a three-time all-state, three-time all-region, and a three-time all-area first-team selected player.

He was a Charleston Cougars basketball team guard from 2016 to 2021. Brevin was named to the All-CAA Defensive Team and the Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team in 2020.

The eldest Galloway son graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology in May 2020. He is currently enrolled at Clemson University for his Master's degree in Athletic Leadership.

Brevin calls himself an animal lover who enjoys baking, watching Netflix, and playing Pokemon Go. Besides his successful career, he is open about his romantic life on social media.

He proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kayla Santos on October 16, 2022, at Shepherd Hotels, as seen on Instagram. The two run an online clothing store named Its Okay.

The couple wanted to bring light to mental health for men and women in a relaxed and calm way through the business.

Braden Galloway is married to his wife, Mackenzie Grimsley. Both attended Clemson University, where they started dating in March 2020.

Mackenzie was born on October 1, 1999, in Florence, South Carolina. She is a social media content creator mainly known for her fashion, style, and fun videos.

She boasts 2.3 million followers and 331 million likes on TikTok. Her sister Caroline and friends have made noticeable appearances on her TikTok content time and again. 

Grimsley and the Tigers' football star engaged in April 2022 when Braden got down on one knee at Miami Beach, Florida. People confirmed that he had proposed to his beloved with a 5.01-carat, emerald-cut custom ring from Ari the Jeweler.

Meanwhile, they had registered their marriage in July of the same year before the ceremony. 

Braden Had A Grand Wedding In March 24

Braden and Mackenzie held their official wedding at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, on March 24. Mrs. Galloway wore two gowns by Pnina Tornai while the former Tigers played wore a fancy custom suit from Nota Bene Bespoke.

The suit featured memorable photos of the couple throughout their relationship. Men's Wearhouse gifted the groomsmen's claims, while the Show Me Your Mumu brand did the bridesmaids' dresses.

Their first wedding video hit five million views quickly, making the two TikTok famous. After the big day, they took a honeymoon vacation to Bungalows Key Largo.

Braden spent his childhood shift between his father and mother since they were divorced. The Galloways have credited Derrick as the primary motivator for their athletic choices.

Meanwhile, Donna has left behind the Galloway surname as she is now married. She remarried her Anotonio Reynold Dea on August 10, 2022, at the Sandals Royal Bahamian, Nassau, the Bahamas.

The two had been best friends for many years before tying the knot. They also adopted a brown poodle puppy in October of the same year as the married couple. Antonio is active on Instagram as @a.dean34.

As Donna lives in Elkins, West Virginia, her two sons grew up practicing basketball and football with her in between their time with their dad in South Carolina. Meanwhile, papa Derrick keeps his personal life away from the media.

The two remain separated but continue to be each other's friends as co-parents. Hence, Brevin and Bradin grew up close due to their family environment.
