Alex Cora kids are Camila Cora, Jeriel Cora, Xander Gabriel and Islander Manuel. Alex welcomed his twins on 21 July 2017.

Alex is the baseball manager of the Boston Red Sox in the MLB. During his daughter's graduation ceremony, he missed the game and attended Camila's high school graduation in Puerto Rico. 

The 47-year-old Cora is also a former infielder who has spent 14 seasons playing with teams like Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Washington Nationals, and Texas Rangers. 

After ending his playing career, Alex became a bench coach for Houston Astros and led their team to win their World Series title in 2017.

He was then appointed as the head coach of Boston and the team won a 2018 World Series victory and a franchise-best 108 victories.

Cora is the first Puerto Rican manager of a World Series-winning team. Furthermore, he also set the impressive record of being only the fifth manager in MLB history to win the World Series in his first season. 

Alex Cora Relationship

Alex is currently in an engaged relationship with Angelica Feliciano. The dazzling couple resides together in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. 

Angelica Feliciano was born on 5th November 1981 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Universidad Metropolitana in 2012.

Her family has a deep-rooted love for sports as her father Jesus Feliciano is a sports coordinator at Bayamon. Similarly, her brother Jesus Feliciano is a baseball outfielder.

During Red Sox postseason games, Angelica supported Alex in his games. She usually attends the stadium with her offspring to cheer for Cora.

Alex Cora Ex-Wife

Alex Cora married Nildamarie Lecleres Vasquez before his alliance with Angelica. They also have a daughter named Camila Cora together.

Although they spent the early days of their marriage happily, their relationship didn't go well in the long run as they parted ways later.

Nilda was born on 1st December 1971 in Puerto Rico. She had a son named Jeriel from her previous relationship with Gabriel DeCastro.

After Nildamrie and Alex walked down the aisle, the former baseball infielder took the responsibility of Jeriel and gave the boy his name. 

Alex Cora Has Four Children

Alex is a proud father to daughter Camila Cora, twin sons Xander Gabriel and Islander Manuel, and stepson Jeriel Cora

Camila is the first-born daughter of Alex and Nilda whereas Jeriel is his adopted offspring from the previous relationship of his ex-wife Nilda.

Camila graduated from high school in 2021 and is currently attending Boston College. Inspired by her dad, Cora enjoys watching baseball.

She attended the red carpet event with Alex on November 3, 2018. Alex Cora daughter Camila is also actively involved in volunteering activities as she helped Puerto Rico hurricane victims students with needed school supplies.

Alex made the announcement of his twin baby through his Twitter account on July 21, 2017. They were born to his current partner Angelica.

As of 2023, Xander and Islander are six years old and they are focusing on their studies. Both of them grew up playing together and they are often featured on their dad's Instagram account.

Alex Cora Parents

Alex Cora was born to parents Jose Manuel Cora and Iris Amaro on October 18, 1975. Jose and Iris raised four offspring in the family. 

His father Jose played winter ball in Puerto Rico. Manuel Cora organized and presided over the Little League chapter in Caguas in 1969.

When Alex was in his mid-teens, his father showed his older brother Joey how to play baseball and switch hits. Unfortunately, when Alex was 13 years old, Jose passed away suffering colon cancer in 2018. 

Alex credits his leadership ability to his old folks and remains thankful for their contributions. After Jose passed away, Alex's mother Iris who worked as a school secretary looked after the four descendants in the household.

Alex wished her mother happy birthday through his Instagram account on January 5, 2020. Iris Amaro is still very caring and supportive of Cora.

Alex Cora Family

Alex Cora brother Joey Cora is the third base coach of the New York Mets. Joey is a former baseball player in Major League Baseball. 

Alex also has two sisters named Lydia and Aimee. Aimee is a public relation officer for TV stations in Puerto Rico and Lydia runs a medical lab. 

Joey Cora Played for Padres

Joey first played in MLB for San Diego Padres in 1985. He played college baseball for Commodores attending Vanderbilt University. 

Joey was transferred to the Chicago White Sox along with Kevin Garner and Warren Newson after playing three seasons with the Padres. Before becoming a free agent, Cora played with the White Sox for four seasons.

In 2017, Joey was inducted into the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame and was named the league's most valuable player.

After bidding adieu to his playing career, Joey started his coaching career with the Chicago Clubs' minor league team. In the 2005–2006 season, he had a 31–31 record as manager of the Tiburones de la Guaira baseball team in the Venezuelan Winter League.

In 2016, Joey Cora was appointed head coach of the Altoona Curve, a Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. With experience working as a coach in different teams, he was hired by New York Mets as the team's third base coach for the 2022 season.
