Dave Lowry is Seattle Kraken's Assistant Coach
Dave was born on February 14, 1965, in Sudbury, Ontario. He is currently an assistant coach of the NHL team, Seattle Kraken.
Adam's dad relished a lengthy NHL career as a player after Vancouver Canucks drafted him in 1983. After playing for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League for three seasons, he joined Vancouver for the 1985-86 season.
Senior Lowry represented Vancouver Canucks, St. Louis Blues, Florida Panthers, San Jose Sharks, and Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League throughout his magnificent career.
After his retirement as a professional player in 2004, he embarked on a coaching career as an assistant coach of WHL's Calgary Hitmen in 2005. Since then, he has taken over the coaching role of both WHL and NHL in various capacities.
Dave served for Calgary Flames, Victoria Royals, Los Angeles Kings, and Brandon Wheat Kings before reuniting with his younger son in Winnipeg Jets in 2020. He even served as the interim head coach of the Jets after the mid-season resignation of Paul Maurice.

Joel was born on 15 November 1981 in Calgary. As the two brothers were only 18 months apart, they played hockey together and were ultra-competitive from the early days.
The elder Lowry played junior hockey for Calgary Buffaloes, Okotoks Oilers, and Victoria Grizzlies in Canada. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings as the 140th overall pick in the 5th round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
Joel played his collegiate basketball at Cornell University from 2011-2016. He has played for Ontario Reign, Manchester Monarchs, Utica Comets, and Springfield Thunderbirds across various leagues in AHL and EHCL.
The 31-year-old Joel Lowry is currently playing for EC Kassel Huskies in Germany after one year stint with Vienna Capitals in the 2021/22 season.
